Hi I picked my Scout up last friday and have LED DRLs. As soon as you turn on the ignition they are on and go out as soon as you put on your headlights. I also have the xenons which are excellent. Gaz

I have now finally rec'd the car after the now standard long wait! Still impressed with caffyns ashford. Excellent handover from Aaron and car prepared to good standard with all extras as ordered. Will post after 1st service.

Glad you all like the wheels, I took a gamble when I ordered them and thought they would go well with the black. Simon, yes it's just the sunset glass although I will probably add some sun shades as I prefer it a little darker for the kids in summer. Gaz

Picked up Scout today which was ordered in April with the following: Black magic , zenons, drl leds, polished alloys, maxidot, varible boot floor, curtain airbags, front parking sensors, spare wheel and tow bar prep. Really pleased with whole package including the wheels and good service by Caffyns Ashford, I have already put a layer of collinite 476 on and jetseal 109 on the wheels!!

I am finally picking up my Scout tomorrow with those wheels, will try and do some pics if I can work out how!

Nick, No it's the 1.8 petrol so cannot work out why the long wait. We added to our order only a few days after your post about the LED's. It's seems a bit of a lottery as to when your car is built.

Ordered my scout 23rd April and have not heard a thing, will contact the dealer today and see if they are still there !! Just found out my build week has been pushed back to week 33 (16th August) car expected around 3rd Sept at dealers. They say this is due to adding the LED running lights and alloys!!? Still at least it will be a 60 plate.

Had a similar thing on my VW Golf which turned out to need a new battery (car not fob) so I would get that checked.

Just ordered 1.8 tsi Octavia Scout from Caffyns Ashford. Excellent service from Aaron who got me cars to test drive and even offered to drive me to their other dealer ( 1 hour away) to view a Scout in the showroom. Aaron appraised my car when asked ( another dealer was not interested in looking at my car unless I was ready to order). Very good part ex and they have guaranted the price until new car arrives (10-12 weeks factory order) full tank of fuel also included with new car. rating so far 5/5 will keep you posted.

I have sent an email to my dealer for some info as I ordered a Scout on Friday, will keep you posted if I hear anything.
