  1. Have a look at APM Customs. They’re s massive outfit and will gladly offer sensible advice.
  2. I use Gyeon Tyre....gives a great OEM finish.
  3. Great! Drop me a text or call if it's easier? 07815814156. Regards David
  4. New back tyre, lots of miles and lots of fun by thd sounds of it! Takes me back to the good old days! Drop me a message if you need the bike doing!! Best wishes David
  5. I received a tin of this from Jackie at Waxstock & used it on the grey MK1 Golf I posted on FB...probably the easiest wax I've ever used. A very thin layer can be applied with the sponge applicator....whizz round the whole car then return to the start and start buffing.....VERY easy to remove leaving an insane gloss!
  6. My pleasure. Taking into account the usual caveat of how an individual car is used, stored, cleaned etc the durability is several months, you won't be disappointed. If you're still in doubt their 15ml bottle won't break the bank.
  7. I'm looking for £95 collected or additional P&P if necessary..... Thanks David
  8. If it's just residue then a tar n glue remover should shift it. However, the chances are you may have to take more action depending on how long the stickers were on the vehicle...I did a VW Transporter recently, turned out to be an ex chips away van. Compounding reduced their appearance but failed to remove the outlines altogether. It maybe you have to flat the paint for complete removal.
  9. Its my 'go to' product for restoring and protecting faded exterior trim, plastics, rubber. In fact I've even used it on interior trim. No greasyness or residue left behind. If you accidentally get it on the paintwork or glass it'll easily come off too! I don't need anything else. It's very watery, so a little goes a long way....unless you use it professionally a 15mL bottle will do the trick.
  10. If you're serious about having your car looking great all year round I'd go with the above....a new car detail by a professional. I'd also expect to pay much less than the above for such given the size of your car, albeit you'll still be looking at £400 to £600 with the application of a good ceramic coating. The ceramic coatings are good for a couple of years if you look after your car....the initial outlay may be expensive but it will save you time and money during that period in terms of keeping your car looking good. You'll not get a better opportunity to get it done right first time whilst new.
  11. I have a DAS6 Pro+ I'll sell if you're interested. Very limited use, fantastic condition.
  12. That's very kind of you! Much appreciated. Safe riding!
  13. Thanks pal! I can see both sides....why have it then not ride it but ride it too much and they're a bugger to keep looking good! Life's too short......twist that throttle!
  14. Thanks! A few drops of blood spilt, plenty of sweat lost this weather but fortunately no tears!!
  15. So here we have our latest challenge, a 23 year old Harley Davidson Softail imported from the States then put into storage for the last 10 years, yet still having less than 600 miles on the clock! Needless to say, the bike was in less than perfect condition but several hours later and she came up a treat!
  16. I've heard similar stories....folk breaking even of making profit upon sale! Crazy but true! I just need to find a decent one!!
  17. Hi Ste, In a word, 'yes'. Marc returned my call promptly last week & agreed to replace the unit, like for like and paid for the return of the old unit In short he confirmed the current unit, more specifically the pump not the motor, is insufficient for commercial use. With that in mind I requested my money back as an identical unit is likely to fail....always when you least need it to! This is being sanctioned but I've not sent both units back yet, so I'm hoping there'll be no further issues. Marc also confirmed what you described re the upgraded unit. He also wants to gauge interest in detailers or commercial users renting such units....pay per month, buy at the end of the year for a minimal fee or receive another new unit and continue rental payments. Any problems with the unit during rental would be replaced asap for free. Thats where I'm at to press!
  18. My sentiments exactly.....
  19. Thanks buddy, yeah, I'll want a remap, nice alloys n coilovers after lowering. 102bhp vans are a tad cheaper n more abundant but I'd heard the 5 speed box doesn't go well with a remap, certainly above 140bhp.
  20. Thanks again. The more research I do & the more folk I speak to about Transporters the more confused I become!! I'm sure the T4 Forum will help.....complications with insurance, which rear seats, which converters, 5sp vs 6sp, 180bhp issues, the list goes on!!
  21. I spoke too soon...it's knackered, just won't pump water! Call made to the number you provided Ste and voicemail left. The wait begins....in the meantime I'm borrowing a Kranzle.
  22. Unit seems to be running ok?! Good news!
  23. I'll keep you posted Ste, thanks. Please don't feel bad, no one has a crystal ball!
