  1. A bit more shove would be nice admittedly but hey ho it's a tool for work and a very good one at that I have other toys for misbehaving
  2. More of a chassis thing than engine for me, chassis is obviously tuned for comfort and refinement
  3. Same here, Cracking value and good at pretty much everything but lacks a bit of soul and if pushing on it can get a bit hairy Can't help feeling a VRS would have done 90% of the Superb stuff but with a firskier side to be enjoyed when conditions and road allowed Only 23 more payments to go and I'm back in the market
  4. I have the diesel 150 SE-L exec estate and for me it's 'just' quick enough Can be found wanting at times hence why I am looking at a tuning box/remap for a bit more oooomf
  5. Aye nee bother what shall 'we' go for next I already had one to be fair
  6. Ahhh yes it might have been an idea to include that information 2.0 150 TDi
  7. Having completed around 300 miles in my Superb I have noticed a particularly annoying 'hole' in the power between 1500-2000 RPM Spoke to the dealer and one of the techy chaps and he said they have a few people complain about it but nothing they can do with it as it's the way EGR operates, didn't really have time to debate but have booked it in for them to have a look in proper. Anybody else having this issue ? Cheers
  8. Exactly what I did I was all fired up for a VRS and then I spied a Silver Combi SE L Exec in the showroom and for the minute difference in price, especially on a personal lease, it was a no brainer. Once I'd convinced myself to accept the fact I am now probably middle aged and refinement is now more of a priority than power and handling I did the deed and will be collecting it at 12:30 sharp tomorrow
  9. If my local VW dealer/s would have had a R Line Touraeg 'in stock' I'd have had one as the test car I dorve was very impressive, but they didn't so I went for a Superb estate SE Lux instead Cheaper as well of course
  10. Forget that I actually took the time to read the thread and low and behold it was there right in front of my lazy eyes
  11. I have the Contigo pictured in the opening post and should hopefully be getting my car Wednesday so will let you fellas know before you part with your hard earned Cheers
  12. Not my cup of tea TBH, not sure why you would buy a car like the Superb then modify it ????????
  13. Come across this glowing review with a few nice pics to boot CLICK HERE
  14. Cheers James I hope I'm as happy as Mr Clark looks if I decide on Cappucino and Ivory
  15. If somebody could be so kind as to post some pics of a Cappucinno car (Preferably Combi but I now I'm pushing it ) with Ivory Leather Thanks in advance
  16. I'd say your not far off there mate, just my opinion of course
  17. Always worked on the basis of a light paint dark interior and vice versa Putting my concerns of how well the Ivory leather and cloth will wear aside I prefer it to the black as I think it lifts the interior and is a nicer place to be. Colours that are winning so far are Cappucino, Sliver and Steel Grey but not sure how the Silver/Grey would look with Ivory interior ?? Any thoughts and of course pictures welcome
  18. I can only find the one where they review it as a crew car
  19. Almost like flip paint, probably just the lights
