Got a few strange problems cropped up with my 2010 Mk2 FL Octavia. It started with a dim indicator light showing on the dash all the time, next the heater fan started to run really slow or not work at all. Today I noticed the DRL's are half the brightness they should be. Car starts and drives fine. Obviously looks like an electrical fault to me but anyone got any ideas on the cause ? Many thanks.

My clutch pedal is intermittently sticking to the floor and gears can be hard to select. I'm told it's the slave cylinder thats needed, the one connected to the clutch pedal. My mechanic is having trouble identifying the part number of what's required, all of his parts suppliers seem to come up with a different part. Can anyone help. It appears to be connected by 2 bolts, has 2 pipes going to it and an electric connection. Fingers crossed someone can help ! Car is a 2010 Octavia VRS Facelift, 2.0 CR. Thanks
