  1. Would be great to see everyone again, and to get everyone together for Andrew would be great. As Davie said, time and date dependant I am in.
  2. Im heading down to it again. We leave on Wednesday morning and head backup the road on Monday morning. The 8 hour drive each way is worth it. Line-up looks brilliant again this year. Was there last year for the 1st year and myself and my dad are going to make it an annual event.
  3. By the looks of it, this isnt happening this month. For those not going to the national meet, we could do this run instead. I will get dates up and sorted soon.
  4. Last i checked it was about £130 for both parts. Bump!! Still for sale and need this gone.
  5. Brilliant write-up Rob. Gives people a good insight to handling mods that should be done. Rear ARB is a must with proper bushes on the Octavia as the back is a bit light at times. Coilovers/Suspension Kits are personal preference based on what you are trying to achieve. I had Eibach Pro Coilover Kit on my 1st Octavia and couldnt fault it at all, but got rid of the 2nd before i had the chance to mod due to persistant problems. Overall, your set-up would suit most i think. Comfort/Practicality/Looks/Useability. Time to raid the piggy bank.
  6. Right guys. After speaking to Graham we are going to take the same route as last year. Its a 12:00pm meet up at Brewers Fayre Pirnhall with a 12:30pm leave for the drive. Everyone meet at: Brewers Fayre Pirnhall, Pirnhall road, stirling FK7 From here its onto the M9 for a short distance taking the exit for Craigforth then onto Doune until we reach Callander were we will stop for a bit fingers crossed the chippy is open. From Callander we head out continuing along the A84 until we get to the junction to right onto the A85 Loch Earn Guest house is on the left at the junction we turn right onto A85 The A85 continues and the road gets twisty and tight... enjoy Map of Route here: https://maps.google....z=15&via=1&z=18 Add your names to the list please. 7. That actually looks good. Top work and OEM+.
  8. I would be tempted to take the trade-in and try and get the dealer to find you a Yeti in the spec and the price you want. They will want a sale and know they will sell the car you are trading in once its repaired. Double bonus for them.
  9. Bump! Need this gone as its taking up space. £90. PM me if interested.
  10. For Sale: Octavia MK2 Spare Steel Wheel and kit Brand New, never used 16" Spare wheel with Continental 205/55r16 Tyre on it. Comes with Kit and foam holder that fits inside spare wheel in the boot. I bought it for my Octavia so I took it out before it went. Now lying in the garage so need it gone. Would prefer Collection, but could arrange Courier for extra. Location is Glasgow. £100. PM me if interested.
  11. Im going along to it anyway. My tickets arrived throught the post last month. Went last year and had a great time. rob - i have entered and if i win you can get my ticket.
  12. Right guys, the time has come to organise/plan the June meet. This month Graeme has put in for a run to Braco. Starting point, Route and Meeting place in Braco to be decided. Lets see if we can get a full group together for a big meet. Its summertime after all.

If you can, stick a post in the parts wanted section aswell. People might have one and offer it to you.
  14. Unfortunate this time after the success of last months meet. Hopefully we are all available for the next one. Hopefully everyone can try and get along to this one. Its a full month away to look ahead.
  15. I got a Black A4 S-Line Avant Kenny. 2.0 TDI 143. Down on power to the vRS, but it handles well and in the gears it feels just as quick. Couldnt put up with the problems. I think i had my car a total of 12 days in April with it going back in with the same issues.
  16. Our Scottish Regional Meet Organiser says and thats final!!!!
  17. Deffinently going to be at this one. Couldnt make the last one due to not having a car. 18. I will keep updating this thread. Its been a problem for a few people. The Control Module has been replaced twice so far, so im thinking it cant be that again, but that is all SUK have been telling the garage to do so we will wait and see what comes back this time.
  19. The garage have been very good about it. I have had a free courtesy car every time and they have been updating me daily on progressions. The light units, control module and other bits and pieces have been swapped between my car and another car that was in their compound to see if it was something else all to no avail. I have an e-mail waiting to go to SUK saved on the computer to explain the situation, however they are already aware of it due to the garage being in contact and sending data and logs down to them. I may send it anyway so i can have direct contact with them myself. I havent tried another garage, but this could be a possibility. i am unsure of what would happen next. I must admit i am sick that the problem still exists after 2 attempts to fix it, and could quite easily just trade the car in, but i love my car and the subtle changes i have made and would hate to have to start over again. I just hope it comes out this time with everything fine on it.
  20. I posted at the start of the month about the indicator bulb staying on permanently and my bulb out warning light being on. My car has been in the dealers for the same problem 3 times this month. And every time they have it for a couple of days, do extensive diagnostics, change the part and give it back to me. The 1st time it went 4 days before happening again, this last time it was 2 weeks. How many times would you give them before enough is enough and what would you do?
  21. After running every check under the sun they know of, they have found the fault has not cleared and the symptoms persist so have reffered it to Skoda UK to see if there is something else to look at. New courtesy car this time though. 13-plate Fabia 1.2 SE with 200 miles on it.
  22. 1 - Change oil and filter every 5000 miles. 2 - Once a week usually accompanied with the following 3 - Once a week unless its really bad 4 - I could hoover the boot every day as i just throw my working shoes in, but usually once a week when washing
  23. Problem is back. Less than a week after the repair. Back in tomorrow.
