Hmmm that’s interesting, I tried all combos when on RWYB challenge and found shifting earlier got a better run
-
Looks ok but why using the whole 7000RPM? You’ll hit peak around 5000-5500 and start to tail off so would be worthwhile shifting before redline.

Thanks for the shout out i miss that car!

I liked my H&R 40mm springs, made the car sit perfectly IMO -

Mods : TMC Tuning box (Setting 7) ITG CAI -
I had a Revo "Panel" filter on mine, made not a bean of difference. Choices would be to remove the "sock" over the standard filter or upgrade to the ITG kit.

Car on its way....now its not?!

Name and shame!! -
Sorry I linked the 215 rather than the 205, but to be honest, you might as well stick wider tyres on. Hardly any (if any) price difference plus better grip.

Sounds really dodgy IMO. Could be forgotten to order, or they accidentally sold it. Either way they sound like a bunch of cowboys, I'd get your deposit back and go elsewhere -
Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta all day long. Budget price with amazing grip http://www.camskill.co.uk/m54b758s103p0/Car_Tyres_-_MPV_Tyres_-_People_Carrier_Tyres_-_17_inch_Vredestein_Tyres_Car_Vredestein_Ultrac_Sessanta_-_R17_inch_-_215_40_17_215_40R17

I used to have a TMC tuning box on my old vRS and it was great. Yes it was a micro chipped controller box that connected to a few sensors and just intercepted the signals and adjusted them but gave good power. The warranty argument will always be out there on tuning boxes, everybody has their own opinion and that's fine. I had my engine done under warranty, I had used the box for about a year by the time it needed doing, the service manager was aware of modifications I had. In all honesty, unless your ECU has to be sent away for testing by SUK or VW a lot wouldn't turn away the warranty work if you had a tuning box or remap. All dealers get paid to do the work from SUK, it's a large part of their business and they make enough so it's no skin off their nose if they do it on a modified car. Agreed with the comments though, you should never not declare modifications, you're just asking for trouble. If you want a tuning box, why not, it means you can have the power while you have the car and make some money back once you've moved on.

Removing Rear Weights - MK2 Fabia vRS TSi Hatch **GUIDE**
VRS-Powered replied to VRS-Powered's topic in Skoda Fabia Guides
Being brutally honest, this modification is good for weight saving but can make the car quite squirmy. I remember doing this modification, taking out the rear seats and spare wheel before I did any handling mods. It was great as the car flew, I remember racing a Mazda 3 MPS on private road and beating it out and out in a straight line. Only problem came when I broke hard for a turn, the back of the car was bouncing all over the place. With the right supporting modifications this can be good to do but I'd make sure you have wider tyres, lower suspension and a rear ARB to make sure the car handles well. -
Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta, without doubt the best tyres I've ever tried. Took a lot of abuse and worked so well. Can get them for £85 a corner too in that size

My ITG was tucked behind the battery and gave gains when on the Rolling Road with it. -

Maybe people looked to see what you had wrote but were unable to answer (I know I did, I haven't ever fitted springs so I couldn't say). Chill out, if people know, whatever version of the Fabia you have, they will help! -
When mine was changed they had it for a week, had it from Saturday. Called me on the Friday saying it was done but they wanted to test it so I left it with them another week. Realistically a week to 10 days is normal.

Forge Motorsport Induction Kit
VRS-Powered replied to shanejdavies's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk II (2007-2014)
ITG has proven gains for a remapped car. The Forge kit is ok and you will see gains on a standard 1.4 TSI but if remapped it will more than likely hinder the performance more.
