    2011 model

Hi everyone My parents have been looking at a 1.2tsi with only 40000km Last 2 years its only done a few kms. It's from a private lady, no licence to drive and her husband has passed away 2 Years ago. Anything to look for Timing chain, turbo, etc Thanks It also has panoramic roof but no xenon Everything else on it basically. Front and rear sensor 17" Amudson gps Tinted glass Climatronic 3 spoke steering wheel with dials Bluetooth Others
  10. Yes injector failures. Usually common on owners who hear loud clack, clack noise at very low rpm. Some also have irregular rpm on idle, my not be noticeable on needle but you can feel it at steering wheel and the engine noise is also varies. Try this to test Handbreak 1° gear and do like if trying to start uphill. Except only tap the accelerator slightly and donnot take foot of clutch completely.
  11. Remapped 1.6tdi will be much better in certain conditions but will not be equal to the 2.0tdi with the same hp. From what I know it's more effective, or more noticeable on the DSG7 than manual 5speed. To compare I tested out on fifth gear from 110-180km/h and takes off 10 seconds. Noticeable power at lower rpm and mid range rpm due to the higher torque. On bench mine reached 114hp and 275nm torque. Friends did 93hp and 235nm. All for fuel economy
  12. Wires It happened to me It's a wire broken near plug on body. Mine was a yellow wire.
  13. Not recall for injector change but yes on software. Very common on 1.6tdi early models
  14. From what I know only models over 140hp come with IRS. I believe within VW group
  15. Over this way if you don't go and do the recall, the garage will let the motor department know. They will call you for an extra inspection and if not done recall the cars plates will be considered invalid. I myself have remap and after recall will get software back into it I would wait unless you remap company will do it again for free further down da road
  16. Hehehe, sorry, distribution is on our passenger side. The pump has a small hole, 4mm maybe, so if pump internal seal starts going bad the liquid will flow out of the hole into side of engine and drop under Carter
  17. Having the amount of Kms I decided to have belts done using a Bosch kit that comes with pump. Material and labour put me back 450€
  18. Yes, had one go almost 2 years later.Excellent during non raining days Osram cool blue intense CBI 5000k
  19. Mine is like that, locking rear Windows the illumination goes out, except now one one switch doesn't go out. Traded switch from other door to see but still won't go out.
  20. Had water pump on mine gone at 115000km. You may see dried water spots on the undertray on your drivers side
  21. When you lock rear Windows from drivers door the illumination on the switch goes off. But recently only on one side does this? Using a drivers door module from a Golf the same thing happens. No errors from vagcom. Any suggestions? Yes the Windows lock
