  1. I see there is a misunderstanding here. I explained poorly in the first post. We already use two different remote keys to unlock the car. Both are coded to different seat positions. However, the seats does not move before we open the door. I would like the seats to move as soon as I press unlock. Is this possible?
  2. Which keys are you thinking about? The 1/2/3 configurations on the seat itself?
  3. I have noticed that the electric seats only start moving after I open the door, so we have to wait before jumping in. Is it possible to make it move as soon as I unlock the car via the remote?
  4. It worked! Thanks I was not a fan of the release/replace mechanism of the box. I also thought it might break at a point.
  5. I believe it was 2500-3500 NOK, but I couldn't find a quote. Actually, the eBay page says both... Thanks a lot, then I'll try again I tried to open it earlier, but a plastic bit on the top of the box (part of the locking mechanism) seems to be in the way. Shall I really force it past this? The manual tells me to press on the sides of the box, so maybe that will "squeeze" the box in the right direction.
  6. Hi, I ordered my Octavia with a Webasto heater, which I'm quite happy with. However, only one remote was included, and the Skoda's price for another one was very high. So, I ordered one on eBay, and want to program it. Note that I'm not retrofitting the remote receiver, only programming a new remote. I have found the following documentation (sorry for the Norwegian documents): The T91 manual describes that either a 1 A or 30 A fuse should be removed before pressing Off on the remote, to perform the programming (p 142) The Octavia manual describes that some auxiliary heater fuses are in the fuse box in the engine compartment, however, they were empty in my car A Webasto installation guide indicates that the fuses should be in separate holders. However, I could not find the holder in the engine compartment The next step would maybe be to try to pry open the panels in the passenger compartment, but I'm a bit hesitant to do it before I know that it is the solution. Have any of you successfully programmed an additional remote? Could you please point me to where the fuses I want to remove are located?
  7. To shorten the waiting time for my new Octavia, I would like to read some tips&tricks you have found out about this model. I could not find an existing (at least pinned) thread.
  8. Hi, I am eagerly waiting for my third Skoda (new Octavia III) and my first kid. I have understood these might not be entirely compatible... Please recommend seat covers that are affordable, and possible to order internationally (Norway).
  9. It seems like some of you want to have your recalled, why is that? Mine is also very close to this series, but I thought that would be a good thing..?
  10. I think my Citigo would look better if the lower part of the hatch (under the window) would be tinted. Is this possible, e.g. with some foil? Here is how I imagine it could look like.
  11. I am also having problems with the Move&Fun, I agree that it's the worst part of the car (the rest is great, though!). Sometimes it won't connect, and while streaming music over Bluetooth, the sound drops out every now and then. I have tried with 3 different phones/tablets.
  12. I'm not sure if this has already been posted, but here it is: http://www.skodatillbehor.se/DefaultSkoda.aspx?article=1ST061123
  13. Sounds reasonable I have had some situations where I would expect the ESC to take over. In some curves, the back wheels have slipped a bit, and in one roundabout, i was sliding on a spot of ice. However, none of these situations was with high speed, so maybe ESC is for more severe situations?
