  1. Yorkshiremidge thanks so much. I'm not sure about the module either, but it makes total sense what you're saying. She has is booked in with an auto electrician this week, so have suggested she show them your post. Really appreciate your input, it might just be the solution. 👍🤞
  2. Hi folks, Asking on behalf of my sister who has a mk3 Fabia. Approx 3 years ago a warning light came on dash to indicate the rear plate bulb was out. She replaced the bulb but it's didn't work and the dash light stayed on. Took it to dealer who replaced some kind of module at the rear. Some weeks later the same thing occurred, Skoda said she would have to pay for a replacement module again (I wouldn't have put up with that tbh). 3 years down the line, my sister is paying a few hundred quid a pop to replace this "module thing" to get the car through it's mot just for the thing the stop working within a few weeks. I've only just found out about this and was like wtf. Has anyone had similar experiences who might be able to suggest a solution. Sorry if I'm vague, but obviously I'm the middle man 🙄 Appreciate any advice. Thanks 👍👍
