Last service they told me i needed new consol bushes - had a mechanic friend look at them, said they were fine. They also told me I needed new rear discs; I took them off to have a look, a bit of rust and build-up but fine. Don't believe what they tell you... Had a control & emissions warning light come on, they had the car for 6 days before they managed to get rid of the light. Charged me £175 and the light came back on the next day. I then took it to an independent who found out what was wrong and fixed it the same day. I feel like I have been had and will complain. I thought the main dealer would have a better idea of what was wrong. I will not go back.

My control and emissions light came on in my 05 Fabia VRS (diesel), the car was running fine. I took it to main dealer who charged me a bucket of cash and it came back on the next day. Phoned them up again and they said they would charge me more. Took it to an independent yesterday, told me it was the coolant temperature sensor. He is sorting it for £100, still loads but at least I will get it sorted... I am not going back to the dealer again - Henry's in Glasgow, they are not helpful. Jim
