  1. Just wondered if they are or if my 2nd hand car has had an upgrade?
  2. Very nice! if it looks this good on production I'll be ordering one!
  3. Ar2e Hole! Glad he got a face pounding. I too feel your pain, I had my wing mirror on my Works Mini smashed off by a drive by and a week after replacing it someone else drove into the side of my Mini smashing it off again!!
  4. I'd go for the integrated Bluetooth, it's the one option I wish my car had
  5. I've got a shark fin and stubby on mine but no bluetooth, would this have been the skoda bluetooth option when the car was new or is it because I have the built in sat nav? Has the previous owner removed the bluetooth kit? Bluetooth is the one thing my cars missing :(
  6. you'd have to turn if off every time you got into the car and started the engine as it turns it back on again each time you start the car
  7. Just to cheer you up a bit, My girlfriends parents bought a focus and the dealer swapped it in the end because of the water that kept making it's way into the boot and they couldn't work out where the leak was. So it can be any car with these problems guess your just unlucky. :(
  8. Defo! It's the bigger picture, not just a few people who thinks abit here and abit there isn't going to make a difference. Open your minds
  9. I thought the latest map came with full post code search?
  10. I had it on my BMW Mini and you didn't need the handbrake on and you didn't need to be stationary for more than 10 seconds. your right about the engine being at the right temp before it works and the battery has to be at a certain level. All you did at a stop was, Neutral selected, foot off clutch, foot brake on. If you took your foot off the brake and the car started to roll the engine fired back up at about 3Mph I must say also I found it warmed up pretty quickly and normally worked after 1 or 2 stops but mine was a petrol turbo and when Petrols 5 quid a litre the savings will grow :p
  11. I had the Stop/Start on my Mini and is very easy to get used to, I liked it and thought it was a good idea. I kind of felt bad when I bought my Skoda and the engine didn't cut out at long waits at traffic lights and Jams. As soon as you touched the clutch the engine fired back up with the help of the beefed up Bosch starter motor as it was in the Mini's and off you went. I'm not fussed about reduction of engine life as I don't have cars that long, and how much does it actually reduce the engine life by? anyone know? I'm guessing this only effects Manuals too.
  12. I Agree with polocoupe, I have the full leather and heated seats on my Octy and they heat up very quickly and after 5 minutes I always end up turning them down or off
  13. I've got the full leather and heated option and I'd have them again on any future car
  14. Defo nicked, parked the car at Tesco's left it with 2 came back to 1! Thanks for you help guys I'll get one ordered
