  1. Many thanks All rooted and ready to go One question, I don't really want / need to mess around with the modifying of ROMS and kernels. Would you suggest still installing a ClockWorkMod Recovery?
  2. Hi folks, Need some help with rooting my phone please. I'm ok with computers but am struggling to find everything in one place in order to carry out the process. If anyone is able to link me to a good step by step that would be great or if someone is VERY computer literate and want to take control and do it remotely please get in touch lol Many thanks, Joel
  3. Just for sakes of comparing performance. Compared to a friends MK2 Focus RS running a CP400 kit (around 400bhp) my old fabia had a higher trap speed over 1/4 mile, 105mph vs 109mph, however the RS was slightly quicker to the line. Longer revs and slightly more grip helped suspect. Over a longer distance the fabia just didnt have a top end of the RS but it was fun trying lol
  4. Its all good lol https://youtu.be/ebNq4QFh67s?t=15s
  5. Would love for this to stay on the forum. Good luck with the sale Richard, still think you should chuck a diff in it and up the turbo lol
  6. People dont realise how much these cars change once things get "serious", we are not talking about a remap with a few bolt on's here lol Cant wait to see the progress from Jason, Kev and the like. Its the route I probably would have taken if I hadnt sold up :'(
  7. Though I cant verify the video I can say a fabia running more than 300bhp is a VERY quick car on the road. Most of these cars will be running higher torque figures than alot of "exotic" cars and will be from as low down as 1700rpm and hold it fairly steadily on a good map. For example 450ftlbs (I would imagine this to be conservative) is the same as, or higher than, an AMG 63, R35 GTR and the McLaren MP4 Now Im not for one moment comparing the fabia to the above cars but it puts things in a slightly different perspective.
  8. Be interesting to see the BHP and torque curves on these cars. Nice to see things moving along, keep it up guys
  9. Nice car Jase, dont think you will regret this move
  10. I could image 160mph being possible with a GTB fitted. 155mph gps reading achieved on the longer box. Still had more to give but not much.
  11. Decided to go all American and activated the US sidelights. Makes the front look more aggressive
  12. I found the extra revs (limited to 5555) helped in the early gears. Once into 4th then it wasnt as effective, as jason says performance drops a fair bit.
  13. Thank you. May send him a message and ask If I can pop over and test a few. I have a feeling the quailty control of these units is what makes some work and others not.
  14. Which one did you purchase please. I have purchased 4 of these now, non would work properly with my bmw :(
  15. Having a play after a few tweaks. Just a tad quicker than the previous skud missile http://vid82.photobucket.com/albums/j265/Joelk06/Snapchat--9149750002899445691_zpsa0mgpyc5.mp4
  16. Why have the "owl" noise when you can get proper turbo chatter https://youtu.be/8r2yZpGN9qA?t=1m20s
  17. Took the chance to get this picture, parking like a boss
  18. Small update: Manage to get some time on the ramp to see what could be squeezed out of the car in "standard" form. Before Starting the dreaded IC pipe got checked and changed. Very leaky indeed. Replaced with a nice new forge pipe Then we ran it again to see what if any difference fitting the pipe had made. Glad to say yes it did help and proves if its leaking you ARE loosing power. Before (blue) and after (red). The main difference it seems is the amount of torque being lost. We then spent a good few hours tweaking the map. Time soon caught us out so had to settle on these as final figure for now. We hope to be able to get abit more out of her yet. The engines are amazing to say the least. 343bhp & 510ftlbs (484ftlbs average) Safe to say the car has been transformed and the increase is well worth the money. The way the car now accelerates is quite scary hitting silly figures rather quickly
  19. I cant comment any further as don't know the technical ins and outs :( Most here know where the car was tuned and they are the ones who offered it as an "upgrade". But as before its not as easy as it sounds on paper by all accounts.
  20. Is it possible, yes it is, but requires a fair amount of work. This was going to be the next step for me if the engine gave way. Just couldn't justify the costs while things were working lol.
  21. After selling my fabia I decided I needed a new project and this time it is in the form of this BMW 335d Msport. The car is a much better place to be sat in but as of yet is missing the "va va voom" of the fabia. Yes it is quick in standard form but no where near as mental as the fabia was lol. Standard graph showing 273bhp and around 370ftlbs (330 is the average) As with the last build this one will be taken quite far to reach some silly figures. Plans at present are upgrade FMIC Remove EGR Remove DPF Remap Remove swirl flaps Once that's done and has been bedded in will look at upgrading the turbos to see a tad over 400bhp and 550 - 600ftlbs with any luck. Once the power side of things have been sorted I will begin to tidy the car up a little but that will come much later on lol. A LSD may also make it onto the car depending how twitchy it becomes but seems rather sedate in current form
