Thanks guys!

I know that these fit in the car - has anyone ever successfully managed to get the heating side to work?
-
So an aftermarket HID kit wouldnt work in them? How does the high beam work?
-
You didnt pay for the original work, so why are they going to bother to entertain you?
-
Can you get these for the Octy? Cheers.

Is there a safe way to get the door card off a vRS when the door wont unlock? The CDL motor has decided it likes being locked all the time. I cant see a way of taking the card off without damaging it.

I would be a little weary with a turbo that has done that many miles. A remap wont increase the boost too much but never the less it is a concern.
-
Mine hasn't used any more fuel but the rear lambda is mapped out
-
You may need to have the rear lambda sensor mapped out. It may also smell a bit more fuelly, it may be a bit louder as well.

Why oh why would anyone feel the need to replace the chip when these are flashable via obd? Madness! I hope you get it sorted out soon, but i would have your original chip put back on and then have it flashed, much better for you! Www.ChipMyCar.co.uk do a self remap tool and map for a reasonable price which allows you to put the car back to standard whenever you want and also do engine diagnostics
-
Did you manage to sort it?

Want to go big power, what upgrades first

I looked into this myself. It's going to cost you ALOT to do properly. Personally I'd save up for something else! -
I'll be getting an eBay special, can't really complain at the prices! Going to get one with built in dvb as well
-
Did you use the blades or a full conversion?
-
Have you got a boost surge after a re-map?

I'd be going back to the guy, sounds like who ever he uses for his maps will need to do some tweaks. I used a mobile guy and it cost me 195 but he uses DNA Tuning for his maps and I have to say that I haven't been disappointed in the slightest! -
Cruise Control Stopped working

Usually a replacement break light switch if the switch has gone. Easy to replace -
Glad it's sorted Bowders

It's red Not ideal as it's going to need repainting at some point as it let's the car down

got lots of stone chips on the bonnet and front wings. Is the paint very thin on these areas?
-

i've always been a fan of Falken 452's. never been able to fault them. -
too much smoke and it'd likely fail. If the map is altered to take into account the larger injectors then fine, but just sticking in larger injectors cant be a good idea?
-
Well more fuel equals more smoke, so if it does put more fuel in without increasing the boost a bit it will smoke more. Not sure on the injector sizes, but personally id look at flow rates rather than out and out sizes.

Thanks shroud, just considering my options as I fancy some 18" chs or rs4's. They would be black mike.
