Have a look at image no 4 of the beige car - when I look at the 2 halfs of the car I see different shades, maybe a trick of light or previous respray?

Don't forget that when the weather warms up you will be even happier, I lose loads of mpg in the winter.. or gain it in the summer

Recently I have been looking at the possibility of buying a new Octavia. I've owned a diesel Octavia for 5 years. The problem is that diesels are getting a bad press but I feel that a diesel suits us for mpg and towing. My worry is that I get a new diesel and some hairbrained gov scheme makes it all a bad idea. So at the mo I'm just sticking with what I have and wondering when to pounce. Any ideas?

I've suffered with rusty rear discs years ago, once a week I use a bit of handbrake for 20 seconds or so, when doing a decent speed, downhill with no one behind. seems to keep the rears nice and shiny.

I don't think they're that bothered anymore (up to a certain mileage), but customs and excise used to hang around the veg oil aisles in supermarkets (allegedly) looking for bulk buyers. Apparently they were called "The Frying Squad"
