Had it scanned and about 5 faults came up. Had the fuel pump relay replaced but still got problems. Any idea where other relays are?

Cheers man, It had a scan, and had some work done at the garage. They thought it was a faulty fuel pump, but turns out its not, as im still getting the problem

Few weeks ago I was driving home from work and all of a sudden i lost all power. Had a minimal amount to cawl home. There was no smoke or anything so it wasnt any pipes or anytinhg like that, there was also no noises. After a few miles the engine management light came on, and it keeps returning. Every time it returns the power goes from the engine. Any ideas?

When accelerating away out of a junction, 1st gear, 2nd, 3rd etc, i get a flashing red light on the dash. Its a light that looks like a battery, but it comes and goes... And ideas?

Did the worst thing last weekend, opened my bonnet whilst the wipers were up, as i was cleaning it :( Clean snapped the wiper arm off the passenger side, leaving a small piece left, on the connector to the car. Ive popped the little circle cover off, and undone the bolt, but the wiper is so stiff, i dont want to force it, ruining the motor. How do i go about taking the remaining piece of the arm off...?

Ivee seen that full mask, think it looks ridiculas! I like the smaller ones though, and that site does them, i jus have never seen a pic or any with them on...

Anyone got one? Desperate to see what one looks like on a Fabia, and how it works with the grill being joined onto the bonnet! Any pics?

Right then, this is something ive never seen before, and maybe someone can point me in the right direction. Im not a fan at all of the Milotec debadged grill, because i dont like the mesh that always seems to be behind it. Is there any way of getting a debadged grill with the slats, like on a standard one? So instead of it being rectangular with a dip for the round skoda badge, it jus went all the way round, with no badge?

Just arrived in the post. Any tips on how to fit it, im not the best mechanical minded, although its not that hard to do. Just dont have a clue where to start...

The front grill is something i wanna sort out. Not a fan of the chrome strip but i dont like the big open mouthed look where the badge should be.

Right then guys, Im sure you get asked this ALL the time and most probably are sick of hearing it! BUT... im gunna ask anyways. Just brought myself a Mk 1 vRS, not planning on doing anything to the engine yet as its a step up from 75 bhp to 130 so i need to get used to it. Basically im asking, what sorta things would you recommend i start with? I know we all want the low suspension and things but i gotta keep the cost down on insurance so im not planning on lowering till this time next year when i get another years no claims (fingers crossed). What would y'all start with?

Alright Guys, just a quick introduction I guess. My names Mike, im 19 and im a football coach for Championship side Derby County. I live with my parents in Ashbourne (a little town just outside of Derby) and i have just bought myself a Mk 1 Fabia VRS 1.9 PD 130. (Collecting it Thursday of this week). This is my third car in the time ive had a licence, i started with a Mk 1 Seat Arosa 1.4 MPi. Then after a year went onto a 2001 VW Polo 6n2 1.4 TDI and that goes on Thursday in part exchange for a Fabia. Always been a big VAG fan, try to go to shows and meets and stuff with my cars. Try to modify them in a way that keeps insurance down, and keeps me individual to others so i might have some mad ideas that some people wont like, but some others will. My Arosa had a Reiger body kit, smoothed bumpers and thats about it for my first car, Polo i had slammed, and tryed to make it a GTi look alike with a few other bits and bobs, and now im getting my Fabia so want some ideas from you guys. Hope to stick around, seems a good little community you got set up on here. Nice one!
