Superb II 2015 with CBBB engine - Intake Manifold Flap Motor Bolts
I found that the length of the screws was a problem and bought a Bahco versions as referred to here. Took several attempts to get the Torx Key to a minimum length balancing between Torx and Hex length. Still couldn't get them out, but hopefully, should be back aup and running Monday or Tuesday. Why is it that the cars always have something go wrong at a critical time when transport is needed?? Even the Motorhome decided to go faulty (Airbag Module) at the same time! That one, at least, is fixed now!! Got a Ross Tech Diagnostic for the Skoda, so clearing faults is sorted.

Thank you for the photo of your 'patented' bracket. Looks good and easy, not only that, simple to adjust. Hopefully, it will help others! I have a new motor and the fix provided by you of drilling the holes out is my route, as currently, I have no screws to hold the motor! Thank you again.

Superb II 2015 with CBBB engine - Intake Manifold Flap Motor Bolts
Ooooh! That sounds right up my street!! It turns out Skoda want me to buy the Inlet Manifold and Motor/Gaskets etc. at a price of £577.20, including motor (not including fitting)!! They DO NOT sell the bolts as a separate item - go figure... Aftermarket offers Plastic Inlet Manifolds with 3 bolts and a spring, which are presumably for the Flap Motor for about £200 or less. Your idea sounds just a 'little' cheaper!! I was thinking about re-tapping holes as the thread difference was so much, but your idea is even simpler and doesn't carry the risk of cracking the Inlet Manifold. MUCH appreciated. Funny how minds travel along a route and you don't get the simplest of ideas. You have probably/definitely saved me a fortune!! This is why I like Forums, you get other peoples perspective! Best wishes and thanks to you, Colin J

Superb II 2015 with CBBB engine - Intake Manifold Flap Motor Bolts
Hi, I have a Skoda Superb II Elegance and the Intake Manifold Flap Motor is failing both the MOT and Diagnostics with a 2015 Diagnostic failure. The information coming back from the Flap Motor is incorrect. Tried the 'quick fix' of the added mechanical stop, but that didn't work, so I bought a replacement Flap Motor. To get the old motor out, I had to chop the bolts as they are too long. The reason for this is that the Plastic Inlet Manifold is too close the the Cylinder Block and the heads of the bolts in this situation are facing the block. Gap between the Plastic Manifold and Motor is about 39mm, the bolts themselves need to be at least 40mm long to get to the Motor 'Mount' holes at the front of the Plastic mount. That 40mm does not include the thread required to attach the Motor to the Intake Manifold. My local Skoda Dealer has been through their stuff and can't identify the bolts, not even sure if they fully understand what is required. So my question is... How can I identify the Part Number of the bolts required to attache the Intake Manifold Flap Motor the in Intake Manifold? The thread appears to be M6 x 1.4mm Pitch - probably 50mm long, 45mm is pushing the number of threads engaged. Attached are a couple of pictures that might help help. The location of the Motor, the chopped bolts compared to a Standard M6 x 1mm Coarse thread. Any help is much appreciated. Colin J
