  1. downside to the cheap coolers is they don't have a separated end tank. they're one open tank, meaning the airflow can effectively bypass the core this not being effective at cooling at all. always go with decent quality kit, you get what you pay for
  2. It's the side markers I'm interested in mostly. But I need a vrs bumper before I fit them anyways
  3. I need that front end Ahaa I've just picked up an octy estate tdi as a "daily" but we all know how that ends up. Might have to come have a nosey at your side markers and splitter though
  4. There's still a space here for it Ahaa If you do choose to go down the Rollcage route, give me a shout. I'm sure I can do an MSA spec one for a reasonable cost to you.
  5. Well I love it Haha I'll leave a parking space clear for it I'd just make it quick and leave the exterior as it is haha Yeah the polo is insane tbf. Not very appealing to look at. But it surprises quite a few people. I know what you mean, can get tedious stood out in the cold weather but I guess I'm still young and like that kind of stuff
  6. It's more how the car looks tbh, it's instantly recognisable. And it has the right character that I like in a car. Wish I'd had the balls to do this to the fabia but I could never do it. I think that's why I like it so much. It's a shame really, but if it ever does need a good home to go to, there's always one here for it. Sometimes I do want a petrol in my life Ahaa. Ended up with a 9n3 tdi polo that's running 258bhp. Which is fun. But you can't beat the roar of a petrol. The meets are on St. Andrews quay. Near mr chu's. There's one on this Sunday if you're free. 6:30pm.
  7. Yeah I still do all that. Can do man, think Jen messaged me about it at one point but I just forgot about it Ahaa. You can happily keep it, I just want to drive it Ahaa. It really is awesome :p and I could do with a company project car to plot some more money into lol Since RollinCrew' finished, you should pop to one of the unorthodox meets at St. Andrews quay. They're a lot busier than the old ones. Worth a look into if you get bored one night
  8. if it doesnt go back on the road, you can fetch this to my unit and i'll trackday it instead . its freakin' awesome in white! this car is cooler than penguin ****, hope youre well Dan!

  12. Can't honestly remember. Ill take some pics and email them through to you over the next few days? Then we can assess the smf situation. I have already mentioned it to you before Ive not destroyed a gearbox yet in 50k miles. And it was a 2nd hand 6spd that went in. It's fine :p Luke Sent using Tapatalk, like a bawsss!
  13. Mine was about 8kg or 10kg if i remember correctly. But its been ages so i could be very wrong aha. Ill dig it out and weigh it tomorrow. Sent using Tapatalk, like a bawsss!

  15. i can answer this and give my input i've got one in my fabia, currently dyno'd at 355ftlbs, and it holds perfect. drive like a stock clutch in terms of feel also, which is a bonus. ive only driven 2k miles on it so far. drove a helix smf clutch before and this is worlds better imo! i do feel like im going to return to smf though, although not having the chatter is nice! planning to turn up my power and see exactly what it will take though, once i get my **** together! aha Luke
  16. Whats the long ratio box codes? If im right in think there's 2 codes? I remember FJW. Sent using Tapatalk, like a bawsss!
  17. it was more of a curiosity question tbh, I was wondering if an smf could be fitted so that the issue never arises again. but wondered if there was one that could be used with the standard clutch. to keep everything easy to get hold of (and cheap!) in the future
  18. Only on 5spd. And its uses the g60 flywheel Sent using Tapatalk, like a bawsss!
  19. So, is there an uprated dmf? Sent using Tapatalk, like a bawsss!
  20. Learn something new everyday. I didnt actually think of that. Tarr Sent using Tapatalk, like a bawsss!
  21. can someone here aid my research? im looking for an SMF that is a direct replacement of the factory dmf. i.e. it uses the standard off the shelf clutch trying to convert one over as cheap as possible due to dmf issues. but nothing i find clearly states whether it will work or not with the factory clutch and to clarify, yes i am changing the clutch at the same time with it all being out, but was just going to refit a standard one. not looking for something to hold ridiculous power or anything, just for a standard car. ta luke
