Skoda Bluetooth Phone Compatibility
wilkenstein replied to golfturbo's topic in Audio, Electronics and Security
Has anyone got a more up-to-date Bluetooth Phone Compatibility guide to the July 2012 one posted in here? -
Nice

Interesting tidbit. I've actually not had to do my first refuel yet, but I did have this warning on my previous vRS and found it a little annoying & well basically pointless, so I'll be glad if it has gone anyway.

I've used the pads that came with the stainless steel front bumper trims & real bumper protector, and they've both held perfectly well, so in my opinion you don't need any extra adhesive. All I would say is make sure the surface you're adhering to is thoroughly cleaned, and dried with a lint free cloth first. I was lucky to do mine in brilliant sunshine which really helped.

+1 Thus proving this 'offnote' character clearly hasn't got a clue what he's talking about, with uninformed barbs, and is clearly a troll just trying to get a rise from people in this forum. The sooner 'he' (or she) is banned from the group entirely the better. But with regards the OP, do disregard any comments made by this member anyway

I got mine just before you and did get the DAB-Equipped Columbus, but I did specifically request it though, after finding out it existed via the configurator as the dealers didn't know and it wasn't in their brochures at the time. :S

With the greatest respect, I'm sure we can all do that and already do, however the Mk2 Octavia speedo looks so much better and goes up in gradations of 10mph which makes it even easier to read the correct speed off of it. All the people who said they would prefer this are merely stating personal preference, so probably didn't really need someone rubbishing their preference and being patronised for having a personal preference.
-
Ah ok, I just always assume anyone must have the Columbus, like me hehe
-
It means it'll get built in 2014 tee hee.

Just taken a couple of pictures of the extra 'bling' (god I hate that word) I've now added to my baby. Here's the rear bumper protector. And here's the lower front bumper trims Both purchased from SuperSkoda. The SS are so efficient

There is one, you just have to enable it via the display settings in the setup menu.

So I've had my Yeti for a few weeks now and I love it to bits, but I'm not one of those that thinks it's the perfect car and there's certainly one or two things I'd change about it. I'm not referring to options I wish I'd had (or not had) from the factory, but general changes to the model. Firstly I think the instrument panel, and particularly the speedo was better in my Octavia, the big rings around the speedo & rev counter stick out a good inch or two too much and the scale of the speedo, going up in 20s could be much better done in my opinion. The other thing is the boot & interior lights are pitifully weak, and yes I know you can get the super LED ones from SuperSkoda, and I'll probably get them when the darker nights start getting here, but I think Skoda should probably fit better ones from the factory. That's about the end of the things I'd change, so the question is ... What would you change?

Definitely get the Columbus (with DAB), that's my big recommendation to anyone getting a Skoda.

My local Skoda dealership (2 mins drive away from me) are fitting mine for me tomorrow afternoon :-) -
And all of the previous ones too? lol.

Marie dearest please step away from the photo editing software & leave the house for a while, take a walk, clear your head, you're clearly going stir crazy waiting for your wee beastie.
-
I got the stainless steel ones, they're a perfect colour match to the lower bumper silver bit.
-
I like them myself, have fitted the bumper strips instead though personally and didn't want to overdo it with the fog light rings as well.

I've just taken this out on my new Yeti. Only took a minute or two online.
