  1. Hi, I have ordered a Superb Elegance Estate 170 CR for delivery in next few weeks. Also about to change phones on contract. I realise there are compatibility issues with bluetooth and 'rsap'. Can anyone confirm whether the NOKIA e52 business phone is compatible with the 2010 UK spec model? Thanks Mike
  2. Hi I have ordered a Superb Elegance Estate for delivery in early Sept. I am a mac user and would like to continue using my iphone. I am aware of this problem and have been in touch with Skoda UK. The response is pasted below for your information. Not particularly helpful I know. Looks like a 'cut and paste letter' probably due to so many enquiries. Rgds Mike Reference: SD-2010/06-001844 Dear Mr Frost, Thank you for your email dated 7 June 2010 regarding your query about Bluetooth compatibility. I am sorry to hear you have been experiencing compatibility issues. As you know, the mobile phone market is very fast moving: both software and a number of different Bluetooth technologies are updated by the phone manufacturers continually. It is therefore not always possible to provide compatibility for all mobile phone handsets. We liaise with our supplier, on a regular basis to ensure they are aware of the requirements for mobile phone users in the UK. I have made a note of your comments which will be helpful in providing up to date customer feedback regarding the use of mobile phones with the latest Skoda models. In order to obtain the most up to date list of compatible phones would like to suggest that you contact your nearest Skoda Retailer, the details of which I have provided below, as they will be able to provide you with the information you require.
  3. Hi & thanks for your reply -I suppose I will have to get another phone to use in the car. I cannot think of another way round it and I do not want to put another bluetooth system (e.g.Parrot) in the car. It's a pity you could not get a simple plug in adapter and not bother with bluetooth at all. The problem seems to be based on the type of connection GSM 2 or 3 that the system is based on. I do not fully understand this technical side!
  4. Hello, Just ordered my first Skoda, a Superb Estate CR 170 TDI 4x4 for delivery in September. Very much looking forward to driving it. My only concern is that it won't sync via Bluetooth with an iPhone. However I notice that same new cars being supplied in Sweden and Ireland seem to work with an iPhone according to postings on this site. Can anyone throw any light on this?

  5. Hi, I have just ordered a Superb CR 170 TDi 4x4 Estate. After ordering I was told my iphone 3G would not work with the Columbus Sat Nav Radio. Interested to hear you have just received a new car and the iphone 3G works fine. Do you know if this is a recent upgrade or special preparation? Thanks Mike
