After selling my 06 vrs, I haven't seen anything else I would like to own so decided to go for another, one popped up locally 05 45k fsh etc, I never knew sunroofs were available, do they give any bother leaks etc? Also did was the colour of the dash change as this one look's more like grey?

I don't know about England but here in Ireland they are very hard to sell on, ended up taking £3750 for my 06 with 85k on the clocks was standard bar a set of spiders

So my vrs was up for mot on the 5th,never done anything to it just got it washed and brought it to mot....ended up it failed on passenger side ball joint and a high imbalance on the handbrake... Ball joint was handy done, the handbrake was just a siezed cable on the drivers side,easy fix, got it changed and both wheels were locking and equally rolling free again on release, so booked it in for a re test... Car failed on a imbalance on the rear foot brake this time,2.09kn on passenger and 1.10kn on drivers, handbrake was above the pass mark, what i would like to know is how could changing the handbrake cable effect the performance of the foot brake in less than 40 miles?

Is there much needed to change a 130 to 150? On a Blt engine

Get them for 120 where in a car for a month then took out as it was sold standard

Craig's autosalvage in Downpatrick have two vrs' in their yard if your stuck,they wouldn't be the cheapest place to get parts from tho

Been offered a set of these at handy money,anyone on here use them?whats your opinion? I don't want replies about 'your mates uncles postmans' car...only if you run them in your own car!

It's noisy because the rear seats and carpet were took out and replaced with a sheet of 9mm ply for motocross gear/work reasons

Yea it seems to go harder after 2000rpm but it's doesn't really suffer from lag that much I think,few seconds if even,maybe a video from a stop would be better? Boot was filled with cordless tools and toolbox to in the video,probably didn't help. I personally don't think it is but a few mates with 150bhp astras say the fabia is quicker.. Most mapped cars in Ireland give loads lag to 2k then bang with a wall of torque lol so many cowboy mappers over here!

Scrapyard, got mine(all four and holders) for 6 quid came up like new with a quick spray from a power hose

I recently got rid of all the usual bangs and rattles by replacing, console bushes,front control arm bushes,anti roll bar etc, all was quite for a month or two! Now a nice new noise has came along its like a rubber squeak noise,everytime I set off and changing gears at low speed?suspect it mite be the dog bone mount but have been reading that it makes more of a banging noise?

I leave the front windows open ever so slightly,helps it a good bit..although this might not be an option depending on where you live

depends what driving your doing around town driving in a 330d is expensive,know a few people with them and they range from 18 to 28 mpg in town

happened in my vrs,was driving along and the abs,traction control and handbrake lights came on at once, about a mile up the road the powersteering went near put the car through a gate post, the clutch bearing or something on the alternator was shot, got a new belt and an alternator from the scrappers and then back to normal!

Basically the car had been messing about last night, throwing up ABS,Handbrake,Battery,Asr and power steering warning lights on and off...engine kept running but all lights window wipers etc cut out.. so pulled up and turned it off and called a recovery truck..... quick look under the bonnet earlier and fan belt was off the pulleys and the pulley on the side of the alternator was free to pull off,leaving a ceramic bit on the shaft coming out... anyone know a part number for the pulley?believe its referred to as a Auxiliary belt clutch bearing? Or anyone have an exploded view of a vrs alternator?

Took the car out for a drive today as it hasn't been moved in 2weeks, everything was fine at the start... was sitting in traffic in neutral and heard a high pitched squeal, thought it was an old clio that was sitting behind and thought no more of it, got home and left it running in the drive for a while and heard the squeal again does it for about 3 seconds then stops again....doing it nearly all the time now tho it seems to be coming from around the alternator would it be a belt tensionor on the way out or what?

Got a full set from a local scrapyard the ones with the vrs logo, cost £10,but while hoking about the car I found 4pound coins powerhosed them and they came up like new
