Hy to all. I read allot from this forum about LPG conversions, but i canot find a topic about the best LPG kit for the 1.8t engine ( octavia 1 4x4 ARX. I cannot know what to choose between : BRC LandiRenzo Tomasetti stage 300 Prince.. From what i read it seems that the performance order is BRC>Landi>Stage 300>... I would opt for BRC but i do not have an service near me and also is the most expensive. If you have some words against one kit or another please write them, I must understand the choice. I do not drive much, about 1000 km/month. but mostly on short distance every day..about 3-4 km to my office,pause, back, and ..again. Thank you regards

Hy to all, I recently buyed a Octavia 1 1.8t 4x4 sedan. from 2002. Sincerly I am a noob in auto stuff. I need to learn more about this engine, and also about this car. If there is available can you provide me some 1.8t engine manuals? I only found in Polish , but none in english. Sincerly I want to know the parts inside the engine, also to understand the transmisiion sistem etc.. @Rapide strictly in town..what is the average consumption. Thank you mixed driving is not good for conclusions because some one has 80% in town and 20% outside ..and some one (like taxi) has 90 % in town...

Thank you to all. I have a really light foot..My max speed in about 15 year of driving was 130 km/hour...My main concern is the outside city consumption..My town is a small one ..about 400.000 citizens but it has a lot of cars and a medium traffic.. I wish to get over 27+ mpg in the city... Thank you DWG for understanding.. I wish to buy an diesel one engine 4x4 but in my country are more expensive ..about 1000--1500 more euro than the 1.8T. I think that for that money (the difference -1000 euro) I could consider buying fuel for my next 2-3 years. From my past experience i drive about 12000 kilometers - 15000 km per one years (not too much) Also in tha last years the cost of fuels increased very much....Maybe I will install LPG on the 1.8T....) If there are any opinion regarding the fuel consumption in the city , eventually the sort of traffic( heavy /light) will be welcomed.. Regards

Certanly you speak about 1.8T 4x4 ? It seems lower than the oficial specs... 8liters/100 km in town is about diesel....and 3.5 liters on motorway is impossible.. I have a good offer for an octavia 1 4x4 1.8t 150 (5700 euro). Is the best price I have. A diesel one is over 6500-7000 euro My bigger concern is about the fuel consumption in the city ....many people told me that is about 10 l/100 km other that is about 13 liters/100 km (in the city) I drive normaly, and I live in a medium city , but yes the roads are not so clean, many cars in.. Can you give me some specs..even in lpg....I will convert in liters/kms Regards
