I've just bought Cruz bars. The instructions have good diagrams, with front and rear / L and R feet separately numbered . And a pic of which of the pair of holes to use (the two nearest the middle of the car, for my fabia). Instructions are online in the product listing at vendors roofbox.co.uk if you've not got a copy. Remains to be seen how it works in practice!

thanks for the tips. I've tried to download the (14Gb) update file 3 times now, each time getting this error message as I try and open the folder. My laptop usually opens zipped folders. ANy suggestions, or should I just wait for Skoda to find/fix whatever bug there is?

Hi - I have a Fabia, registered September 2020 and bought (ex-demo) May 2021. The dealer forgot to include the satnav sd card completely, at first, then provided one which looks to be a very old (2016?) version for such a new car. Does anyone know what version it should have been shipped with, please? (I'd rather have the dealer fiddle around with the updates than do it myself).
