  1. right i have opened the bleed valve and the pushrod on the master cylinder goes in and out fine by hand and the fluid squirts out of the valve but when i tighten the bleed valve back up the pushrod on the master cylinder will not budge
  2. The other day I changed from 1st to 2nd gear and snap the clutch pedal dropped to the floor now I have read about the black plastic back box on the pedal (which as broke off) but the white clip is still intact on the end of the master cylinder pushrod I have taken off the clutch pedal and examined for weld breaks but its fine but the push rod is stuck out and i cannot psyically push it in is this right or is there any way of freeing it or has it seized cheers
  3. cheers nick mine looks nothing like that (but used to i have marks on the front spoiler where i used to catch it on curbs etc) the prob i have i have paid £260 for 2 front coil springs supplied and fitted and now andrew page are saying they are correct and will refund the cost of the springs but i have to pay fitting again and for me to get gen skoda parts fitted so for all that its going to lay me in total around £500 for 2 standard springs fitted i have been back and forth the alarm bells rang when i saw it and now i feel like i am mythering because i cannot find anybody who knows what they are on about
  4. they are saying its right but i have had the car for 7 years and not happy will take a pic tommorrow in daylight ps before i struggled over some speed ramps etc now i can ride right over i am at my wits end :( thanks for ur help guys u have saved me a few quid lately in this world of ignorance just cannot get a straight answer anywhere

  6. having major problems with new coil springs on the front very high supplier keeps reffering to the springs as rs which i know is the less sportier car ie think its the Elegance

  8. hi guys is there a difference in ride height on a mk1 vrs 180bhp and rs 150bhp cheers
  9. I've had the torch out and from what i can see of the coil i cannot see any markings just the black coil
  10. does anybody know the correct ride height for a vrs and where you measure from and too
  11. so can standard springs actually fit on? and will it effect performance? or are safe?

Hope u guys can help My Octavia vrs recently failed the MOT due to both front coil springs being fractured so i booked it in at local back street garage picked it up yesterday and the front end ie clearance between arch and wheel seems to be higher is it possible they got wrong part and put on standard octavia springs cheers
