Hello, Thankyou everybody for the replies. I cant get use of a volt meter till tomorrow so I will try then. As a side note the thing whats confusing me the most - the radio was working fine the other day (I already have one of them iso block things from ebay to sort out the memory). Regarding the power surge thing - I cant think of a different way of describing it so I've made a video Thankyou PS the power surge thing is about 0:11

I've Googled it already and couldn't find anything hence why I asked, And it seemed as though MoggyTech knows what he's talking about so I thought he would know "off the cuff" what cables they are. Thanks.

Hi, Basically I had a different radio to the standard one and it was working fine, I then acquired another radio from my mate - after swapping 2 cables over it worked.. Then it went off so I took it out, saw that the power wire had become dissconnected and reconnected it, Plugged it back in and it didn't work.. After a few hours of mucking about it still wouldn't work so I plugged the original radio back in, exactly as it was before I tried this new one and nothing, that one won't work now. I checked fuse no 45 and it was fine, But the thing that is confusing me is when I plug my original radio in it flashes blue - like a surge of power and then does nothing. Just wondering if anyone had any ideas.. Thanks.

Hello I've done a search for this and cant find anything on topic.. In my mums car (2008 fiesta) and my past cars and to be honest any other car the heater fans seem so much more powerful than in my fabia, Is there anything or anywhere that I can check for blockages perhaps as it's been like it since I owned the car and I've had it for about 7 months now. Any advice is appreciated. Cheers

Hi, Im curious as to whether or not HID's (Without projectors) will be ok if the inserts are painted. EG Will they make the paint run assuming the get hotter than your normal bulb ? Thanks.
