Mate, do it! if you're happy with 30mpg's then there is no reason not too! The TSi is so much better than the CR170 that i cant put it into words! Put it this way, my old CR would constantly see the redline in order to make progress, but in my TSi i dont think ive taken it above 4k rpm because theres so much useable power already!

It only takes 1 day to build, but can be built on any day of your confirmed build week. It wont be confirmed until 2 weeks beforehand.

The only thing missing for me is a decent exhaust note! There was a thread by somebody who had replaced a rear silencer but I can't find it

I dont want to cause any arguments, but, I popped in to my dealer this afternoon and they were mid way through the PDI. I started asking him about warranty and modifications and his answer was "as long as you can remove the mod and return the car to standard then there wouldnt be a problem" so wheels, spoilers, suspension, exhaust all fine. He then said "if the car was mapped, then it would absolutely void the warranty". I asked about stand alone tuning boxes e.g DTUK box and he repeated his first statement that as long as it could be put back together with no visible sign of interference then they couldnt do anything about something they never knew was there (wink wink)!
