Hi all, I have bought another running 200k, but the engine sounded sweeter than some sub 100k PD engine cars I've heard. The service history is there, but not as complete as I would like so I have contacted the dealer to see if they can print off what has been done, do you think I will be lucky and they will help me out? In the last 10k a few things have been changed and are all with main dealer parts. Cambelt Waterpump Glow plugs Glow plug controller. It will runs fine, the oil looks good, the coolant is nice and clean. I am just wondering if there is anything else you would recommend I look at now so it is less likely to let me down. I'm thinking drive belts, fuel filter maybe? I dont know. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the quick responses guys. No, front and back. I have fully adjustable weitecs (sp?) on there at the moment. The thing is, I have a supercharged track mx5 for fun, so it seems a waste having such a sweet set up on something I always drive in mpg mode. I have the mx5 for when I want to go fast. Anyway, I digress. Both front and back to be swapped, and the one thing I am told, but havent confirmed is that the original top mounts are used. Is this correct? The standard suspension I have sourced second hand doesnt have the top mounts with it, the seller said he used them with his coilovers.

I may choose to go back to standard suspension instead of coilovers. The coilovers were on the car when I bought it so I didnt do the swap myself. I was wondering how long I should be expecting it to take on the drive? and if I were to pay a garage, how many hours labour do you think I would be expecting to pay for? Thanks in advance
