@pikpilot When did the upgrade happen? What does the sticker look like?

Thank you both. Yeah, I don't do long journeys really. Maybe 3 or 4 times a month. I'll try BP/Shell as we don't have Gulf or Esso here anymore.

@Evolution13 It happens fairly often. Would I be able to get a bottle of something to help it clear out and then take it for a boot up the motorway?

Morning folks. I have the above Octavia, and I have an issue with the revs. Normal running it'll idle at 7-800rpm. other times, even after only driving a few minutes, the car will increase revs to 1000, and stay there. The engine temp will increase quite quickly to 90 degrees and the gear changes become snatchier. I'm not getting any DPF or engine management lights on the dash. Drive long enough and it'll settle down and go back to normal. other times if the journey is short enough, it'll stay that way until I turn it off and the fan will come on for like 30-40 seconds afterwards. As you can see from the pictures, stopped and traffic and the revs haven't reduced as normal. It this a sign that the engine it trying to clear the DPF filter? Or is there a malfunction in the DPF pressure sensor or other associated part? I'd really like to know what it is as I'm selling the car in a few weeks (hopefully) and I don't want to sell it on with an issue like this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
