  1. On our non stop drive we didn't get to see much at all. Crossed the Millaue viaduct at night so didn't even get to look at that. All I can remember is going round Paris and the manic toll booths at Barcelona. If you do go down on the motorways then expect to pay a lot of money in tolls. My mum and her partner now drive down every year. Only he drives but they do it over 3 days normally now Would defiantly do 750 miles over two days to keep it a chilled drive and to be fresh on your hol. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  2. Have done hampshire to torrevieja in Spain (almost 1200 miles) with two people with no stops. I did about 2/3 of the driving Getting to Paris is easy and no worries, and I only started to feel it roughly 300 miles away from torrevieja and then the red bull came out. 20 odd hours after we started, we made it but it took a good day or two to recover. We did do it in a old Laguna with no air con and in the middle of summer I would say do it over two days and enjoy the ride unless you need to do it in one Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  3. Watch a Billy Connolly did a while ago. It started with him introducing himself as a old man. In the show he did a bit about his wife (or sister/friend) going back into the house as she forgot something. He then remembered something and went back in to get it but his wife hadn't realised so when they met in the house she jumped Any ideas? I've tried three shows so far. Christmas

Shopping normally gets done on Christmas Eve just before the shops are supposed to shut. I'm always there when the announcement comes on saying they are extending opening hours. Get some bargains. Was going to decorate the new flat with bits and bobs. Have been trying to find something fun to put outside like a smaller version of this but for christmas. But boiler just broke so it's going to be just some basic lights this year. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  5. Thought win 9 was Win ME. Installed win 10 at work and it's not bad. Think it may be the next is on my laptop. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  6. Ok. Must be a belt or something then. Will get it checked out. It's not really loud but I just noticed it. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  7. Hi, When I first got my car I also purchased one of the Bluetooth OBDII adapters. After a couple of weeks I plugged it in and used the torque app to show all the figures etc and to solve a warning light (Glow Plug). After using I noticed that when idle ing the car now makes a faint knocking noise at each rpm. Being new car to me I couldn't say if it did this before but couldn't remember it doing it. Can one of these ebay ELM327 devices do anything bad? Cheers Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  8. Thought not, shame as a few little s**** need a shock. Guessing they get away with in in fields as people shoudnt be in there.
  9. Just looking around the net and came across the car zapper 9000. http://carzapper.info/ Basically its electric fence attached to your car. Would this be legal in the uk?
  10. Shouldn't need much. I've got a single sub in the back of the vrs. Haven't used anything to hold it down and it's never moved no matter how crazy the driving. It's a square box but the back is angled so that probably helps. Stitch some Velcro in or get something like this And fit to seat belt bolt. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  11. Door has been playing up recently so brought a new lock. Went to change the lock just now and it won't open at all. Have removed the fuse and tried opening. Removed battery terminal incase the CPU was playing up. Can't get any action from the lock, the motor doesn't even groan anymore. Tried giving it hit around the lock to see if it frees it up. Any tips? Many thanks Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  12. Hi, Having to take both the door card and metal panel off to replace door lock. I've had to seal two other doors so far so guessing this one would need doing soon. Should I remove the existing foam seal? If yes, should I go over where it used to be with plumbers gold or something else before putting the plate back on so it's not metal on metal and then rivet and cover in more sealant? Thanks Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  13. Hi, Looking at changing the MAF. The mpg's are gradually going down over a year 1/2. Thinking it may be getting clogged after reading about mpg's on the forum. Is there any difference in Bosch vs other brands such as masterpro at euro car parts? Same question with glow plugs, when I had one fail I brought a single plug just to get it running but it wasn't a Bosch. Is there a difference? Many thanks Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  14. Hi, Have a flat tyre and a problem in that that the key is hiding from me at the minute. Have spotted this Anyone used these to remove locking nuts? The nuts are the ones with three holes in, tried to buy some nut removers from halfords but they won't go in the hole to reach the nuts. Found a set of above in a range of sizes but not sure if they would be strong enough. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  15. The other doors unlock but not the passengers. It used to look like it was trying to move the button but couldn't do it. If you keep the interior handle pulled you used to be able to double press and it would open, doesn't do this now and just makes a groaning sound Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
