  1. Sorry for not replying my internet has been down Thanks to everyone for the information
  2. After fitting a new battery last week the one shot window option is not working on my fabia front electric windows. Please can anyone tell me if there is a VCDS adjustment possible to bring this option back again in a Fabia 1. Thanks in advance for any replies
  3. Also worth trying Wickes roof & gutter sealent mine has held for over 4 years now. Whatever sealent is used do not worry about it looking neat, just put plenty of the stuff in and around the seals and rivets. Good luck
  4. My cambelt was replaced without the 3 engine top mount bolts being replaced. Worth changing the water pump at the same time though.
  5. I have tried two different makes for the pollen filter. Both had to be 'cut to shape'
  6. Nice clear guide this. Did mine a while back with Wickes roof and gutter sealeant.
  7. Thanks for the picture and the part number. I noticed one of the clips had broke it got stuck in the Hole in the dash that has the clip already stuck!. Done by previous owner, but I have been trying to force it back on not realising someone had toshed the cover on. Just need to get one new clip and the old one out and hopefully problem sorted. Thanks
  8. Having checked it out again. I am missing one of the metal snap connectors from the cover, which was probably while I could not shut the cover properly. One broke off while I was trying to get the cover back off. I will have to go to a dealer and get a couple more..... Looking at the pictures attached can anyone please tell if any of the fuse box cover mounting holes I have numbered should have metal snap connectors inside. As only the second hole has a metal connector on my car. Thanks in advance for any advice.
  9. Thanks for the replies. I am using the rear wiper fuse at the moment, just going to take another look now to see if I can get the cover on a bit more...I will let you know how it goes
  10. Yes I think it is. Might have a look a connecting to it. Shame as it was quite easy to wire the dashcam down a pillar to the fuse box, but the fuse box cover sticking out because of the fuse adapter looks bit amateur. Thanks for the reply
  11. Thanks for the reply. Shame it all looks good apart from the cover sticking out. Not sure of any other simple way of connecting to a live with the ignition on without using one of these piggyback connectors.....
  12. Please can anyone inform if it is possible to get the fusebox cover back on properly after fitting a mini piggyback fuse adapter to their fusebox on a Skoda Fabia 1. It seems to stick out too much for the cover to go back on fully.
  13. Shame I have just crimped the connector. But I have got a mini connector somewhere I thought I had ordered the wrong size. Thanks for the advice
  14. Thanks for the reply I would have gone for the rear wiper fuse as it is probably the least used. I wonder if it is worth getting a mini piggyback adapter to be on the safe side?
