could this be the resister in the foot well next to your feet vent as I read it gives problems I read about it in another post any help apreciated

hi there guys and gals hope you are all well . I have recently fitted a new heater blower to my mk2 Octavia it is the one with full climate control . when you use the fan at low speed it works fine but when it is flat out it works for 2 min then starts cutting out every 20 sec and coming back on and off ! if you even reduce the speed by one click it stops it and works fine . it was bought from euro car parts last nov so and a wee bit fed up way it as they are no cheep the garage has checked the conections wiring and it come up on the fault code as a dead short on the blower ????? any help appreciated thanks for looking and have a great weekend regards michael

hi there would a new climate control unit need to be programed to your car or is it just plug in and go ?

hi guys and gals recently my climate control has had a mind of its own and a funny rumbling noise from the heatre it is duel zone on a 54 plate octy it seems to work for ten min or so then starts blowing hot air . any help would be apreciated as a new heatre control is well over £500 i dont know if it is fixable way a software update or if it is just knackered

hi guys and gals hope you are all ok ? my prob is i have a 2.0 tdi 140 elegance and it has a knocking sound from the front pasenger side at slow speed just when you are on a slightly uneven road at faster speed there is nothing i have replaced the front droplink which was worn but not that bad any help would be apreciated regards peachy

yes but i run on highland park i get 100miles to the bottle on 18 year old and 200 on 25 year old yum think i will go for a dram :p some fuels are just too good to waste

hi there guys and gals i have a 2.0tdi 140 octavia and get an overal mpg of 54.5 which includes the school run is this what every one else gets or can i squese more out o her fuel here in orkney is now £152.9 :'(

yes i have a hatch but the wireing looms might be the same where in the boot it your outlet

hi there is there wiring in the rear of the mk2 octavias for a 12v power outlet as i could do with one in the rear what i mean is they all have the same wiring looms so are there octavias out there way 12v inthe rear :p cheers for any help

hi there guys and gals how is everyone ? i polished my octy yesterday and detared it and O.M.G the tar that was on it was unreal are the roads sheding tar all over the uk on is it just realy bad up in ork could almost o started a new buisness tar recycling but twice over with tardis job done and on to the polishing
