  1. Old thread but does anyone have VCDS full scan about Octavia without electric tail gate? My fathers car other lift motor got broken and we changed normal gas springs there to be able to use trunk. Now the soft closing function which closes the trunk is not working and there is warning about open trunk on cockpit. Trunk is actually locked but car doesn't know it. I like to code that thing away so kind of retro remove...
  2. It's actually Finnish company called Rightware behind that technology.
  3. I like to change that relay on my Suberp and did found the relay under seat but how to actually get on hand of it and take it off? What parts need to take off?
  4. Thanks, I already disassembled the mag and even manage to but it back together again. Only one disk left inside because it was under cd reading head and that I didn't remove. Not that bad task anyway. Now I just need to find a way to get this thing to power up... this one is not functioning on car either.
  5. I need to get CD's out of Bolero which doesn't operate at all. I have disassembled the unit so that CD magazine is on my hands but that looks like there is no way to disassemble it more so that I can still get it back together. Has anyone done this? This is from 2011 year mkII Superb and the one with wider faceplate. Made by Delphi.
  6. Good to know, thanks. Must be something wrong with bench wiring harness then.
  7. Is Bolero same as Columbus on powering point of view? That Bolero is working ok on car but not on desk with 12 & 15 connected (nor with 16). It does go through all CD's when first time powered but nothing on screen. It consumes something like 50mA when power button is pushed but drop almost zero after that. Near 1A when disk is changed. I had Audi Symphony II+ and it functions similarly until I connected some pin to 12V or GND. Just can't recall what it was.
  8. I think I also tested that already but need to check again. Thanks!
  9. I need to test my Bolero on garage desk with lab power supply but seams that it need some other wires connected also beside 15 (12V) & 12 (GND) on below chart. I have done that with Columbus some year ago but can't remember how and can't find that info on net either. Any help here? 3. Multi-pin connector 2, 8-pin, for voltage supply lines and CAN bus 9 – CAN bus, high 10 – CAN bus, low 11 – Display voltage supply, positive 12 – Voltage supply, negative, terminal 31 13 – Display HV CAN bus low 14 – Display HV CAN bus high 15 – Voltage supply, positive, terminal 30 16 – Anti-theft coding control signal, SAFE, positive Source.
  10. ... and also disables the interior sensor but not the alarm.
  11. My father has 2 weeks older 1.9TDi 4x4 -08 than my TFSi vRS and last week we have to drive 10 km on road with 10-15cm new snow on it. My vRS is lowered 55/40mm and it was pretty much useless while 4x4 drive like a train. I have to drive behind of him to manage going forward at all. After we drop my car I drove 4x4 back the same road and just love it. Of course this is quite extreme situation but quite common on the country side where my parents leave. Definitely the best choice for them. We need another car for my wife maybe next year and more and more thinking of getting something with Haldex. Octy 4x4 is one good choice, also thinking A3 since its available with the same TFSi I have on my vRS. Just wondering who will drive it then... =)
  12. Here are "standard" vRS seats on FL so those full leather seats may be an option...
  13. Has anyone tried this Connects2 CAN-BUS adapter with Octavia 2 and get it working? I have both CAN-01 and CAN-SKODA01 and Octavia 2 vRS -08. Those should be just plug 'n play. I just can't get those work. I have two of those so box itself should not be broken. Any idea? Support on Connects2 sucks, can't get any reply there and also reseller is hopeless. Problem is that I'm at Finland and bought those from UK (didn't find reseller here) and even returning the product is difficult.
  14. Superskoda has this in they list so not flat bottom...
  15. You mean 225/45 17... also 205/50 17" is good as I have such for winter tyres...
  16. 18"x7.5" Zeniths are 12,7kg if I remember correctly so 17" are probably quite close of those Pegasus.
  17. How this is connected? Is there some sort of CAN-box between HU and cars radio connector?
  18. I have currently installed it so that I use some trailer fuse to that black/white wire and now my radio is on only when power is on, not when ACC. Memory keeps stored stuff so there is constant power like there should. Need to visit on local store even their opening hours doesn't fit my daily schedule. Just asking if anyone has faced this also.
  19. Old thread but if anyone who have done this could advice. I have MY08 VRS TFSi Combi and there is no wire on SB9 on fuse box currently so putting radio wire and fuse there does not do anything. It there some change on fuse box wiring on MY08? Does anyone have access to fuse box schematics to check this? Also do you have power on your radio when key is on ACC? I couldn't find any fuse which i could use that has power on ACC but not when key is off... any advice?
  20. Does anyone know has there been some change on fuse box wires for MY06 to MY08? I have this Skoda 1-DIN set and instructions told me to put ACC wire to SB9 but there is no wire on place 9. So I can't get any ACC there. And SB5 is already occupied which should be used on MY05 and earlier. I have MY08 TFSi Combi VRs if thats matters.
  21. Can anyone check the part number for this truck fitting for -08 vRS Combi and left side?
  22. Has anyone find more info about this RCD-510? Is there Skoda version available?
  23. Forget those colors and get the one without... pure white...
