  1. I've had a rempap on my fabia vrs for about a year with no problems.
  2. I'd be interested in the brace if you need to sell it :-)
  3. Yes please, still very much want one. Ideally plain metal so I can paint it a nice lary green colour :-)
  4. And how much are they? I was hoping to do a few mods(maybe one or two a month) that don't break the bank. I seem to remember people liking the whiteline one on cliosport. Cheers
  5. Hi Guys I've already installed a pd160 intake and had the furby remapped by angel tuning. I am looking for other ways to modify the car whilst still maintaining a fairly oem look and not breaking the bank. I think FMIC and hybrid turbos are off the table until next year after my pay review. I was thinking lowering springs, a rear brace (found the thread on here where they are £50) and possibly trying to vinyl wrap the grille and a couple of other bits. Essentially nothing I cant remove and put back to standard. Does this all sound like a good start and is there anything else that's a common mod for sensible money? Thanks
  6. Shall I start a new list for these? Or can I be cheeky and ask if there are any that haven't been paid for? Payday tomorrow so could send the money straight away ;-)
  7. Can i put my name down for the next batch please. Only just found this thread. 1.)Germjames -bare metal (so I can paint it vRS green)
  8. Awesome cars, used to drive my ex's. As everyone has said though, It will cost more to run/service and just seriously don't drive it in the snow with standard tires or you will stick it in a hedge/ditch/wall.

  10. I was actually just looking online for a haynes of similar manual for the car. Have to be honest, I did some bits and bobs on my clio, but i've only looked under the bonnet of the Furby about twice. Where would I be looking for the expansion tank? Thanks
  11. That's a relief. Thanks for the reply. In short, it probably won't blow up between now and saturday when I take it to the garage. Thanks
  12. Drove to work this morning and the temperature warning light came on. At least I think it's the temperature warning. Red, squiggles with what looks like a thermometer on the top left of that area of the dash. The temperature sensor next to the petrol gauge rose to exactly halfway and stayed there rock solid like it always does. It might be important to say that it was bitterly cold this morning and was the first time I have seen the Furby frosted up, so not sure if this was a coincidence. The service light has been on for a while, but it had a service when i bought it(65000miles), and I will be servicing it this week on 68500, 1500 miles before its due again just for peace of mind. Oh yes, It had a remap a couple of weeks ago, but I really haven't driven it any differently or thrashed it at all, all motorway miles at 70 (give or take 10% ). Sorry for waffling, just wanted to put all the information in. I'll see if the light comes on when I drive home later. But if it does, am I alright to drive it until it's service on saturday? I do about 65 miles a day.
  13. I bought Mine a few months ago and got it mapped By Andy at angel tuning. He came to my house and did it as well. Car pulls a lot stronger and further up the rev range. Great mod, I'd say buy a good standard car and do it yourself.
  14. This won't take too long. Only passed in 2008 as I just never got round to driving. My Cars 2002 Clio 172 in flame red, lowered on coilovers and lightly modded. Loved it, bit noisy for my commute. 2004 Fabia vrs Like it so far, better on fuel and relaxing to drive. Needs a remap  Shared cars Used to drive my ex's cars 2007 BMW 330D Msport. 369 ibs/ft of torque standard. Great car to drive, faster than it felt and it felt fast. 2005 Honda civic type-R anniversary. i love V-tech! I don't like buying v-power every 5 minutes. Drove a few learner cars but they were too wet to care.
  15. It was only down the road. More than 5 minutes and the whole car would be covered in slobber and stink. And the dog would have made a mess too ;-)
