Need a new window mech for the drivers side so anyone know of a good replacement that fits as it should on a mk1 04 octavia .

Comes up as rear left which is that is it nearside?? also getting a flashing/beeping warning light as i drive thought it was service but thats been cleared so could it be related to the ABS???

Well looks like i will have to find someone with VCDs as service light is still beeping and flashing at me seems even worse now must of gone of around 10 times within 10 mile.

Thanks looks like it can be reset as the service light is not displayed anymore will know for certain when i head out to work later.

Cant find my MaxiScan 405 to see if will clear my service light as its doing my head in beeping all the time,does anyone know if this will clear it as dont want to buy another and it wont,also if anyones in the manchester area and has one or can clear service light let us know.

Need to sort rear abs sensor out as light has come on and fault recorded is rear abs sensor,where are the sensors located and is it an easy job model is a 1.9 tdi 130.

Airbag light is on so read fault with a 3rd party reader and it comes back that its the drivers airbag so gather it may be a loose conection on the the steering wheel airbag. The thing is got mot nxt week so if i get fault cleared with vag com will it come staright back on or does it take so many miles before it comes back on.

Thats the one thanks,unsure on problem as had it cleared but returned after a couple of months so just want a chap reader to clear light until i get time to sort.

Cheers will have a look tomoz,could have caught something when i put me disclock under the seat.

Got airbag light reset but no code was given but now light is bck on after around 500mile if i get the fault code will this indicate whats wrong. Also are there any cheap fault readers out there that will read and clear the airbag.

The airbag light has come on after i stalled car one morning unsure if this can be cleared under vagcom also seatbelt light does not stay on if its not used but still beeps could this be related?? any ideas would be great as due mot soon so need this sorting.

OIl check light(orange)came on so checked and level has dropped to bottom of dipstick,only place where ive noticed oil is around the area on pic . Could this be the problem and would a delete pipe fix with oil catch tank fitted.

Think it may be admiral blue,just need to source a mirror bck which is colour coded as dealer only sells primed.

Other half just checked service book and she says ERF 9432 does this sound right if so whats this in english.

Need the paint code for my octavia 04 130 tdi i know it says blue in log book but its more a blue/green colour think its only available on the 130 tdi. Dont have car as working away but need to source a new wing mirror as some idiot pulled out from behind a bus a clipped my mirror and put a nice crack in it. Also any other models in the skoda/vw group that the mirrors will fit which use same colour.

In the instructions it says you have to cut one of the fixings of dont know how hard this is so thought it best to buy another hose incase i damaged hose.,if its just a 45degree bend what diam does it need to be.

Seen a ross tech hex one here http://www.gendan.co.uk/product_VCHU.html might leave afew weeks and get one has anyone had dealings with company.

Looking into a cheaper alternative to ross tech so what reader is best for a mk1 octavia tdi pd 130 04 plate,got a budget arond 150quid but could go abit more for right item. Quite like the AUTEL Maxidiag ScanTool EU702 as it covers afew makes but is it comp with the mk1 diesel anything else out there which is comparable.
