  1. So.....following on from my previous post it appears i need a new (2nd hand) cluster, does anyone know what revision numbers are compatible?? The original Cluster has part No. 3T2 920 941 D ( As far as i can determine D revision is 03.11.2008 - 01.11.2009) Can't find any 2nd hand D revision cluster's on selling sites but there is one with a different revision number..... 3T2 920 941 H (31.05.2010 - 29.05.2011) dated 30.08.10 on back of cluster.... Anyone any ideas if this will be ok?? Both cars appear to have same engine code CBBB....
  2. i have spoken to an auto electrician/cluster repair place who state it will need a new/2nd hand cluster which will then need coding to the car.
  3. Hi All It's been a while as the Superb has become a spare car...... I actually sold it yesterday.....BUT Whilst on the test drive the new buyer noticed the left indicator was dimly lit in the instrument cluster? I plugged in and ran a vcds test, no faults were found which related to the cluster, he ended buying the car but has text me this morning saying his now concerned..... Ive had a quick google which has brought up a couple of post on Brisky but related to the octavia, to me it seems the cluster might be suffering from dry solder joints? bear in mind the Superb has not really been used much in recent months and has only done 300miles ish since MOT in October....been sat on driveway in cold/damp/freezing conditions etc.... Im going to contact a cluster repair specialist (seen some on ebay as mentioned in Octavia posts) tomorrow but was wondering if anyone has else suffered with issues like this in their Superb.....or can offer any advice?? Car is 59 plate with 135k....... Thanks,
  4. Same here.....check coolant warning suddenly came on when i did check, the expansion tank was completely empty no obvious signs of leaks etc, filled with anti freeze and have driven 1000= miles and its still fine....bizarre !!??
  5. Does anyone know if this will fit the twindoor, all posts ive read regarding RVC are for the estate? does it have the same original handle?? thanks,
  6. Hi, it's the D revision unit, didn't realise it's had to be connected through rsap, just read back a couple of pages of this thread, what are the differences between rsap and hfp? Can I atoll stream media when in rsap?
  7. Hi all, I've done the mentioned upgrade and everything's working fine but I can't see any option for the mobile WiFi? Any tips? Do I need anything else apart from the new bt module? Cheers
  8. All sorted now for under a tenner! turned out the switch was buggered! I'll just add incase anyone else ever needs to replace any of the centre console switches, my local dealers wanted nearly £30 for the said switch, which was readily available from Poland for £9.98 delivered!!
  9. ok, tried pushing button while in measuring values of VCDS it stays as 'non op' so hopefully my problem may just be a dodgy switch, anyone any ideas ow to get it out? thought i may have been able to take gear shift gaitor off and push from under neath but doesnt seem to want to pull off as in the octy? any ideas? thanks.....
  10. OK cheers! two things to test then, fuse and button, will have a look....
  11. ok, cheers guys, somethings obviously wrong then, like i said, i get ntothing what so ever at any speed....a trip to the stealers perhaps?
  12. Thanks, thats what i was affraid of, pressing the button near gearstick doesnt do anything at any speed, strange that no faults are showing in VCDS though? any suggestions peeps?
