It comes on when you select windscreen, with the fans running. It is supposed to do it.

27,000 miles in mine, only problem was a sticky thermostat a month after purchase. It uses oil but not much, 1.5 litres in nearly 7,000 miles.

It has an electric coolant pump, that keeps circulation around the turbo when you switch off. You can just hear it if you listen.

This happened to mine, turned out the oil breather pipe had popped off. Not sure how this could effect idle at start up, but I haven't had the problem since.

I cant help with the fault, but on mine if you press the lock button twice it locks the doors but deactivates the alarm.

I laughed when the guy in Halfords asked if I needed my new builds fitted. Think I'll take them up on the offer next time.
