Oh dear. I saw my first Karoq yesterday at my local dealers. A dark grey 150 tsi and every thing else was black. They'd placed it next to a new silver Yeti 150 tdi which looked modern and sharply styled. The Karoq looked bloated and boring by comparison.( only my opinion I know.) Curiously the Karoq was marked up cheaper than the Yeti. 25K and 26K for the Yeti. I suspect that my next car will be a nice pre-facelift 170 elegance.( like my first one.)

Price reduced to £150 . These are genuinely almost as new.

4 Steel wheels fitted with Goodyear Ultragrip 9 winter tyres 165/70/14 81T. These were purchased from Mr Winter Wheels (now £370 for a new set.) They've been used for 1 winter only and are as new ,all with 7mm of tread. They come with a set of ebay generic silver covers. I'll deliver North Lincs/Leeds area or meet a reasonable distance. £200.

From my son's car: 4 Ford Focus Ghia alloy wheels with Dunlop winter tyres 195/60/15. 2 almost new at 7+mm The other 3 around 4 mm (there's 1 spare tyre as well ) The 4 wheels are virtually unmarked condition. I can meet or deliver around North lincs,also maybe Leeds/Harrogate area. £ 80 the lot.

My brother in law used to own one of the largest car supermarkets in the North. They sourced their cars from auctions and manufacturers the same as every other dealer. Their lower prices and deals merely reflected lower overheads and a stack them high,sell them cheap business model. They had many repeat customers. (including me...)

I drove past a large BMW dealer yesterday. It was like looking at a black and white photograph. Out of 50/60 cars only 3 were a rather dull blue. All the rest were black or white.

Mine came on again yesterday at 16300 mlies,for it's third refill. It is proving very consistent in it's mileage.

My brother's had a red Yeti for 5 years now and over 130,000 miles . Paint's as good as new.

I'd replace it.. I had 2 replacement windscreens ,one heated on L&K,no problems, Both developed cracks from stone chips which spread quite quickly. I'm afraid Yeti screens seem to attract stones...

+1 MikeL .We had 1" of water in the passenger footwell. It took the dealer days to dry out the interior. I would certainly not pay for a sunroof.

I've driven 15000 miles in my 150 SEL manual. It's virtually as quick as my previous 170 until over 3500 rpm where the 150 tails off compared to the 170. MPG about 10% better. The engine warms up quicker too. Only slight downside is re-filling the Adblue every 6000 miles. The Bi-xenons are even better than the original xenons on my pre facelift 170 as well.

We specced it with a normal radio on our SEL and it came no problem. Quite useful too.

We were told Oct/Nov,for a Macan S Diesel. I'm not holding my breath though. We waited longer for our first Yeti 170 tdi.

We went into our Porsche dealer the other day and...errr ..signed for a new Macan. Well you can't take it with you. :p

We've stayed at Premier inn at Heathrow and Gatwick on their car parking deals. Really excellent...You effectively get the Inn accommodation free. Good food too.

I got mine weeks ago and immediately posted it back to 10 downing street,asking them to re-cycle it for me.
