  1. Okay, thank you, guys. I guess I am just expecting to much
  2. Yes, that is first thing that crossed my mind. But than I talked with some other MK III owners in my country, their cars work on 750 rpm. Also, we are talking about 2.0 150 HP, there should be enough power for A/C to work without additional rpm. What is experience of other owners on this forum? I guess I am not the only one who drives it in hot weather.
  3. HI, I have Superb MK III 2.0 TDI 150 HP. I've got it in February, traveled 11000 miles so far. In my country weather temperature is very high since beginning of May, last 20 days over 30 C (86 F). When weather is like that, AC is on, engine in idle constantly works on 1000 rpm. It is more noisy and burns more diesel. It would not go back to 750 rpm unless I turn off AC and slightly press throttle pedal. After turning on AC and pressing throttle pedal it goes back to 1000 rpm. In the morning and in the evening, when it is cooler, it works on 750 rpm. Car was in service shop, no error found, no solution given. It is not DPF regeneration. What could be reason for this? I guess this is not normal working mode. Thank you.
  4. I have two normal and one booster seat in my Superb. http://sphotos-h.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-prn1/32347_10151189268379294_1617557511_n.jpg
  5. I had same problem. My brother and I tried to find creak spot. No luck. Than I had small crash, guy hit my Superb drivers door at parking. After repair there is no sound. Maybe I helped.
  6. For several weeks my Yeti 1.2 TSI is reporting some kind of problem. When it is stopped, let's say on traffic light, ASR light turns on. Diagnostic says it is engine problem, not ASR. But for now there are 3 faults. In service shop tried with changing some valve, it didn't help. Latest fault code is P0068. Something with "MAP/MAF throttle position correlation". Any ideas? Thanx
  7. I had two turbos replaced, every 16.000 miles. I hope I will have more luck with third.
  8. I had to change turbo in February on 24.000 km (15.000 miles), and now again on 51.000 km (32.000 miles). This is now more than "small problem". People will start to get to 15.000 miles and there will be more reports about this. Is there any info about changes on turbo to make it better? My Yeti will be out of warranty in June 2012. and after that I will have to pay for costly repaires every few months :(
  9. My 1.2 TSI Yeti has 51.000 km. I had to change turbo on 24.000 km, now I have same problem again :(
  10. That is how started problem with my Yeti. At the end, turbo was changed. After only 20.000 km
  11. I have same problem. I was in my local Skoda service shop few times. First they were saying it is software problem. Until few days ago when they told me that my turbo is dead, and will be replaced. Now I'm waiting for new part to arrive. 7 months with Yeti, 7 months of pleasure when it works and pain when it does not work (more and more often :()
  12. I have to reopen this topic. I have my Yeti 1.2 TSI for 7 months, and I have problems all that time. First it was problem with cold start, rpm wasn't constant. I could see that cabin lights are blinking in rhythm with engine rpm going up and down. One month ago finally software was updated, and this problem is still present, but not as much as it used to be. Now I have another problem, more serious one, because I almost made big car accident while I was passing bus. I will try to describe what is going on. Problem occurs in two situation: 1. driving normaly, slow down or stop, and when try to accelerate 2. going downhill and not stepping on gas pedal, just using gravitation In those two situation "EPC" light starts to shine, and car goes to "safe mode". I guess turbine is off. It needs 30 sec to accelerate from 0 to 50 km/h. Than, after few turning off and on, "EPC" is off, and "check engine" light is on. Than I can drive normally for some period, until "EPC" is on again. This period can be from 15 sec to 2 hours. I haven't got any answer from two local Skoda services in my town, and no response from Skoda general distributor for my country. That drives me mad. I paid for new car, I have big problems, and no support. Does anybody know anything about these problems? Thank you.
