Did you get an LED solution for your Scout?

For what its worth here is a new vehicle checklist I pulled together earlier this year from VW websites (I was looking at a Tiguan but now the Yeti is coming to Oz) that I plan to use given the few drama stories people have reported when they didn't check everything. The stuff I have read says that you must check everything and get all defects recorded in writing with the dealer and agreed to be fixed/replaced before you drive off - else they may not be recognised/honoured. Recomendation is to still shot even video (with still shot camera) whats not working, and get the dealer to agree to fix it by a defined date/service. I am going to feel weird doing it and worse asking stuff to be documented but its a HUGE financial commitment for me so I want to get it right. Especially if it means I cant drive away in my new car because of serious repairs or wrong build (it apparently happens). Its the one option missing for the Yeti that I think I would like. Sure parking sensors are great but a reversing camera would be a useful addition . I was wondering if anyone had got one fitted and could comment on its installation, cost and usefulness.

Is there a link to get the full ordering codes / configurator codes for all Yeti options?

If you get an answer please post. They say the spare is cheaper to order but I want the space, so I would likely do what you have done and would prefer to get a flat floor

I've looked at the Tiguan (but as much as I wanted it - too pricey and now about to be face lifted), the ix35 (pricey and bleh), Honda CR-V (not for me - engine, body roll), Toyota RAV4 (old...) the Nissan Dualis (Quashisisisisi???) (meh - gutless engine), the Mitsu ASX (not bad but mediocre engine and no xenons), and now the Yeti is coming to Oz. So after numerous reviews and google translations etc, I figure its the one. Fingers crossed on available options and pricing but I am hopeful from seeing UK to Aus prices for comparison vehicles the Yeti will be affordable for me. So I have joined these forums hoping to find out more. Its for me the best looking of the bunch, and I am hopefully the drive will be as good as everyone says. So Hi.
