  1. Got them on mine and they handle great. then again my rear shock had collapsed lol. I'm still happy with them though
  2. Brand new Sachs set....swap for something, not sure what. Try me lol
  3. you've not sealed it properly and cleared the drain holes too. Fact :)
  4. could be the ARB itself needs replacing if it's an older one with plastic collars for the bushings. Had it myself and had to replace the ARB with a newer one with metal collars to stop the inner bushes moving
  5. It was only a light roughing up. I agree more aggressive, but by no means overboard. Same job effectively
  6. FYI I did this yesterday as in the 6 years of ownership, the one touch hasn't worked on the passenger window from the drivers control, I used a standard pot scourer pad to roug up the brass contacts lightly and cleaned the rubber pad with some 'elbow grease' multipurpose household degreaser. I dried off the ruber pad and reassembled and all worked well, so no need to buy anything you haven't got in your house already. I did it this way knowing that I might kill it completely for the purposes of research
  7. I changed mine about 3 weeks ago, radiator from euro car parts was very cheap for a new one
  8. Changing a rad is not a 5 minute job fyi. It's not hard, but time consuming!
  9. Pm pics of the bonnet inc grille. Im in sheffield so could pick up
  10. Must be the week for the, breaking! I'd managed to snap 3 of the 4 wires on mine!
  11. Pop back in with it. I'm sure they'll identify any problems (if there are any) and rectify FOC
  12. The small part of the loom you need is available from skoda. You still have to run the other wire and splice it into the ecu though
  13. Mine plooms black smoke with the intercooler pipe off. I cannot believe people actually think this is likely to be an mot tester's fault. Even most backstreet garages, let alone huge ones know that customer cars aren't to be used for runs to the shops ect. Also that cars should be allowed to warm up (however not required to) before being tested. It'll be one of those things that's just happened, bad luck that it wasn't in your possession at the time.
  14. Could you pm me the exact condition of the bonnet and grill please along with a price to post? Thanks
