I have a skoda fabia 2001 . After reading these posts I checked my rear door foot wells and yes they are both wet . I ran water over the windows and it is leaking between the door cover and carrier . God knows how long this has been going on .I just hope the floor is not rotten.. Now I know where my condensation on the windows is coming from

I have wet rear footwells on my fabia mark 1 and I read on forums its do do with rear carrier door seals .If I get this fixed should the front door carriers be done ,or are the front doors not prone to leaks .If so what is the difference.

How do you remove plastic trim that runs along and overlaps the bottom of the windscreen on fabia 2001

The reason I ask is that condensation is forming on bottom right hand corner .As anyone had any success curing this on a bonded windscreen

I really want to know what the missing bolt through the carrier as I am thinking off taking civil action

They cut the carrier to get it off as attached photo

I cannot see any silicone around the outside

Garage is denying it saying it would not have worked first time if the bolt was missing .the window mechanism was replaced by cutting the carrier plate.I think the missing bolt keeps the mechanism aligned .There is also a similar bolt on top right of carrier.

I had the window mechanism changed on my fabia 2001. It did not include the carrier . However since the replacement window mechanism the window would intermittently jam . When the door panel was taken off it showed a missing bolt on the carrier . I replaced this bolt and it now works . I am not very happy with the garage , Can anybody tell me what this bolt does. I have looked up those spark plugs I'm still confused on what size socket i need .When you say 12mm socket for fabia 2001 is that the inner 12mm of spark plug .It seems very small

Hi Does anybody know how to remove battery from Skoda fabia 2001 comfort > (pictures would help) I also noticed the battery fuse carrier hinge is broken . I have googled Fabia fuse carrier but cant seem to find a seller (anyadvice please). If I do find a fuse carrier does it come with terminals?

Hi I have a skoda fabia 1.4 16v year 2000. Does any one know the correct Tyre pressures ? The filler cap info show s pressures higher at front than rear but the haynes manual shows this in reverse. Also any info provided, can i have the BAR pressures please?

Skoda fabia comfort 16v year 2000 I have noticed the battery cover hinges have broken . Does anyone know where I can get a replacement cover from (or plastic hinges)without buying the inner fuse and cable connector attachments? Thanks

I need to know the tyre pressures for fabia 1.4ohv tyre size 185 60 r14 . The info inside petrol cap is 220 front 200 rear but the Haynes manual says 2 bar front 2.2 bar rear . Assuming 220 (as inside petrol cap ) is 2.2 bar the information given is in reverse .(confused)
