  1. My old man has the current Ibiza FR 105TSI. It goes great, bags of torque and power comes in very early. Think max torque is achieved at 1750rpm IIRC. He is returning about 44/46 mpg. Having driven Renaults version, the Tce, in my opinion the VAG version is strides ahead.
  2. Nice, just picked up one myself that's very similar. Looks good in white Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
  3. ^^^^ Fantastic! Thats it sorted! Although now I have to build all the interior back up, renew the rivets i drilled and reseal the second door skin lol Thanks again!
  4. My back door has been tempremental since i bought the car, when you unlock the car via the key fob the back door wouldnt open straight away. If you applied a little pressure against the door handle it would click then open and operate as normal. Now its just not opening, Ive had it stripped down today but im no further forward. All the cable connections etc are complete, the mechanism just wont open the door! HELP!!!
  5. Was working on my car the other week and noticed the engine cover looked a bit ****. So i got my thinking cap on, came up with a few ideas and went for this! Not totally finished, i want the TDI badge back on but cant decide what to do with it!
  6. I spent my saturday fitting a set of H&R springs to my vRS. I got them from DPM and Im over the moon with them! I steered clear of coilovers because of the roads i drive to work. 30mm drop but doesnt sacrafice comfort!
  7. I had EBC yellowstuffs and project Mu discs on my last nissan. I won't buy EBC performance pads again! They dont have a patch on ferrodo DS2500's! Although I'd prob run greenstuffs on my fabia because they arent high performance. I am a fan of Toyo T1-R's and they seem to be lasting quite well on the fabia, quite like the eagle F1's too! Didnt like the conti sport contacts on a previous car, I had no confidence in them! (might be due to a 50 profile)
  8. yeah you can get brembo discs. http://www.europerformance.co.uk/pages/products/search_car/product_sub.mhtml?car=skodafabia;category=frontbrakediscs
  9. cheezemonkai: yeah it goofed around with the radio reception to begin with! VRS_Pagey & ap0gee: LOL! Ive never had any bother with MOT's, testers just seem to be concerned about the beam pattern!
  10. i was bidding on discs calipers carriers pads and lines on ebay. they went for £167!
  11. I was stuck between the cupra, VRS and the Polo GT. I didnt like the interior in the Polo's A fabia came up at a good price with leather and i went for that. If it never had leather i'd prob own a cupra.
  12. A couple of photos of tonights antics! Turned out nice and finishes the car of as xenons werent an option from the factory. They are not as blue as the pics make out!
  13. Do the 312mm brakes fit under standard VRS alloys without any bother?
  14. i rate the T1-R's for the price, i get mine from camskill! Cheap delivery and a good performance tyre!
  15. Please excuse my lack of knowledge here! im ordering springs and a bit unsure of finding my car on the list! I have a 55 plate VRS.
