Hello,
I have a Skoda Superb 2014 TDI 140 DSG with 114k miles on the clock and all has been 'superb' for the last 5.5 years up until now.
Driving yesterday on a 40mph road, I shut off the throttle and heard a loud rotational drowning noise then a few metres later, no drive. Turned the car off and back on and as soon as I put in D, the car stalled. It would engage reverse fine. After a few goes, I managed to get drive in D and limped on tickover round the corner to family members house (very lucky) and called the breakdown service. When I came back out the EM light was on and the spanner symbol in the MFD. Again the car reverse but struggled in D. The car was recovered home.
Someone suggested trying the car in Sport and Manual to see if any different.
This morning, no EM light and no spanner. I have driven round the block a number of times in Sport and Manual and there are only a couple of issues. Dropping down to 2nd gear in Sport the revs bounce and the car judders. Setting off in Sport, slightly up hill and it took a few secs to properly take up drive.
I need to get the codes read but wondered if there had been any similar issues??
TIA
