Sorry if this has already been asked but today after getting back to the car (2019 Octavia) the key fob failed to unlock the car. The light on the fob didn't illuminate at all so I opened the car door using the key but, on doing so, the alarm sounded. Is that what you would expect? Touching the key against the start button didn't have any effect. Fortunately I had spare batteries in the car and a replacement worked fine. Oddly, once I got home I retried the failed battery and it worked perfectly!!
