    Just got car back, they fitted consoles for both sides with new bushes and bolts, £360 for parts and £160 for parts.

    All sorted (MRGF my auto electrician checked everything, but thanks for the advice hopefully it could help someone else)
    It was the window regulator motor in the drivers door Part no. 6Y1959801 SK 6
    The part was £161 and with labour including looking for the fault 2 weeks ago was £140 ( 5 hours).
    So a lot of money but cheaper then the £430 the dealer wanted to replace the window motors in both doors.
