After 10 very happy years of Scooby ownership, and a considerable increase in my daily commuting distance, I decided I needed to switch to the dark side and get myself an oil burner. At first I tried a Golf TDi, but that did my back in, so I got my first Octavia vRS PD 07. Now upgraded to a 14 plate Octavia III vRS TDi which handles like a dream!

I've met several very happy and friendly Skoda owners during my years organising events on Scoobynet so I'm hoping this place will be almost as good

I love driving and feel privileged to know most decent roads in the UK, especially the East Midlands/Peak District, Lake District, North York Moors, Wales & Scotland. I've fully receed & organised extensive trips around all these plus a few other places too. I'm always open to exploring more areas!
