  1. Hi all. I have a 2012 Superb Elegance 170 4x4 manual hatch and was advised at the mot that there is some wear on the fronts. I have been checking all the usual suspects black circles etc, and when I add my reg it says I should have 225 40 18. All of the tyres on the car are 45 profile. Is having the 45 profile likely to affect the Speedo reading tax? I’m assuming the previous owner went to 45s to improve ride comfort. Any advice or guidance will be very much appreciated Thanks Chris
  2. The main key on my 2012 Superb is playing up. Open and boot buttons work perfectly but the lock button is intermittent at best. I can remove the cover to get to the battery but cant work out how to split the case to check what’s happening with the lock button. any help greatly appreciated. Pics of front and rear attached for reference. TIA Cheers Chris
  3. Any help appreciated 🤞I think I should clarify the issue and many thanks for the replies. it is more of a body drone at these revs and I think it’s metal on metal maybe. I’m looking s at adding some sound deadening to the twin hatch connections to see if I can reduce it. BUT what a fantastic car 👍👍👍

  5. Any help appreciated. 2012 Superb 170 4x4 and the rear has a drone at 2 - 2500 revs. Almost rocks the car. Disappears if I drop from 6th to 5th but really annoying that that is motorway speeds and I’ll kill the mpg. Seems to be coming from the hatch/boot anyone else had this and any suggestions that I can look at? TIA
  6. Hopefully a quick one🤞🤞 my rear park sensors have given up the ghost and I’m going to fit an aftermarket set. Cany anyone advise what cable to tap into for reverse light feed, hopefully at the top of the boot/hatch TIA
  7. Cheers Chimaera. I’ll replace the module and see where we end up 👍👍
  8. Is anyone aware of where I can identify the cable route to the buzzer which I believe is under the headliner. If it runs from the control module, I can try to locate the cables coming from the module plug cut and add in a new buzzer and se if the fault lies there. id be happy to mount the replacement buzzer in the boot area.
  9. Hi can anyone advise what bulb is in the halogen DRL on 2012 Superb please? i can locate instructions on how to access and change bulbs but nothing stating what bulb TIA
  10. Hi again. Managed to access the park sensor module and it appears I am missing the centre connector plug which is showing on the previous pic. Unsure what that cable is or where it may be tied up. I'm trying to avoid removing all of the boot trim
  11. Thanks for that Chimaera. im almost tempted to cut an inspection hatch in the rear right side to just to check it out as it’s behind the door for the first aid kit. I’m hoping that someone can confirm where the module is placed so I can ensure I access that area and not 2 feet away but I can’t find any diagram.
  12. Hi all. I need to check my rear park control module which, after a VCDS scan, looks like it may hav been disconnected when a Skoda towbar was fitted. ive been told it sits behind the rear off side trim panel in the boot but can’t figure out how to remove or loosen the boot panel to access the module. I’ve googled for ages and can’t find anything on it any help or advice would be greatly appreciated TIA
