I'm thinking of buying a new Fabia with the 1.0 TSI 110bhp petrol engine and DSG box. Does anyone here have any feedback on the real-world average fuel consumption for this model, with either the standard wheels and tyres or the 15in low rolling-resistance ones, which boost consumption? I've been put off diesel by the recent controversies and the fact that consumption figures have got a lot worse as a result of changes made to cut the NOx pollution, but I wonder whether small three-cylinder petrols that offer good consumption on paper might actually use a lot of fuel in real-world use because the engines get revved a lot to extract decent performance.

Are orders placed now for the pre- or post-facelift car? I ask because it seems the UK configurator is still showing the former, but I understood that the latter is now being built.

I'm very close to pulling the trigger on a new Fabia, and am in the UK. Would appreciate guidance on the following: 1. If I buy on the Solutions PCP before the end of June, Skoda UK contributes £2000. Is this a bigger discount than Skoda normally offers in the UK? By a lot? Just trying to work out whether it's worth committing this month 2. How much deposit will I have to place when ordering? 3. Can I subsequently change my mind, and if so how much would I lose? 4. How far ahead can delivery take place? I ideally want January or March of next year. Will they pass on any price rises before delivery, or will the price be fixed on the order date? 5. How much do I have to put on the PCP to get the £2000 Skoda UK contribution? I have the cash and don't want to pay more interest than absolutely necessary Many thanks!

Given the current excellent deals Skoda is offering on its PCP, I'm poised to order a new Fabia. I don't need it until January, or even March, 2017. If I order now for delivery in 2017 Q1, will the price be frozen at the current level, or could it change? Also, there's a small chance I might not need the car then. If that happened, could I cancel the order, and if so what might I have to pay? Plus how much deposit would I have to put down now?

I'm thinking of ordering a new Fabia hatch with the 1.4 TDi engine, DSG gearbox and SE L trim. One of the options is 15in wheels with low rolling-resistance tyres. It improves fuel consumption by about five percent. I can't see a picture of the car with these wheels on it, or of the wheels alone, on Skoda's website. Does anyone have photos of this combination they could share? I just want to check it looks OK. Plus how does it affect ride and handling compared with the standard 16in combination?

I very nearly ordered a 5dr Elegance Greentech 75bhp on Christmas Eve but was unable to get to the dealership because of the storms. By the time it reopened in January there had been a price rise, and servicing was no longer included free on the interest free credit offer. Does anyone here have any inside info on what deals might be available from 1 April? Maybe a dealer has given you a few hints. Or perhaps you *are* a dealer - if so, PM me if you'd like to discuss a deal...

I'm hoping to order a new Citigo on Tueday for delivery in March/April. As you can imagine, I'm trying to benefit from the interest free credit, free servicing etc and also avoid a possible price rise. However there's a small chance I may not need the car in the end. If that's the case, do you know whether it's possible for me to cancel the order? If so, will I lose any money (how much?) and is there a deadline for cancelling?

I was due to order my Citigo Monday afternoon but couldn't get to the dealership due to the storms. Tuesday morning the garage was still open but I had to stay in due to having to liaise with the insurance company on some damage to our house. Now they're shut until the New Year. Does anyone know whether the interest-free credit and free servicing offer will continue in the New Year? It's a big factor in me wanting the car.

I'm on the point of ordering a Citigo tomorrow and would appreciate confirmation that I can play my music through the PID without problems. Does it take SD or Micro SD cards? What's the maximum capacity it can handle? If I transfer files to the card using iTunes it gives me four ways/file types for exporting a playlist to an external card. Which option works with the PID? I can choose between Unicode Text, XML, M3U, and M3U8.
