  7. No but just found a hole in the pipe that connect to the turbo it's got a huge hole in it looks like it's been rubbing on the drive shaft, it's an airtech front mount
  8. No nothing came up on dash and the temp didn't rise but when I popped the bonnet and gave it a little Rev water came out of the expansion tank
  9. Hi guys heard what sound like a pop, similar to a boost pipe, popped the hood and there is water on the bonnet above the coolant tank l, can these explode? It was making an awful noise, which seems r have gne now it's cooled down, rang tps to get a new header tank just in case but just wanted to see if anyone had a previous similar issue, I don't have time to tinker with it just need to do what ever as I have just over an hours drive to the wedding venue Thanks
  10. Get into skoda fabia vrs and fabia vrs owners on Facebook they will go in a shot
  11. evening all, as above air con isn't working, can't here the compressor at all when inswitchbit on has been like it for the last year fuses all ok, may look at getting a second hand pump but is there any way to check if it's defo the pump I had it regassed but it made no difference Thanks
  12. At the time I bought the turbo this is what my budget allowed, it's currently now reverted back to standard until I've got my group 3 logs to send over. Hopefully it won't be too long until it's sorted as you can massively notice the difference between standard and mapped
  13. thought the my were exaggerating, are they not suppose to be the professionals. I was thinking it may have been good for about 230 as a standard pd150 is good for about 200, but 220 is good for me. To be completely honest I would be happy for 200-210 if say 220 was going to kill the life of the turbo as although I want the most out of it I also want the turbo to last, it's currently over-boosting ecu is requesting 1.5bar and turbo is spiking at 2bar between 2.1k-3.2k before it falls to below 1.5 bar and then returns back to ecu request boost at around 4.1k, John is sending me a standard map to revert it before I run my group 11 again to see if it's the turbo that needs adjusting or if it's the map that's at fault, just wanted to gauge what everyone was running without to much drama
  14. Not sure about the billet wheel all I know is it was a standard pd150 and they machined out housing and increased diameter from 49mm to 54mm and increased blade from 36mm to 40mm, they did say it would happily boost 2 bar and capable of upto 300bhp obviously that would need some engine work ie injectors. I'm not even thinking that level but just want to make sure I can get the most out of it without overworking it
  15. Evening fellow broskodians, in at the stage where I'm remapping after fitting some new part, I've fitted a pd150 hybrid turbo, a fmic and an allard egr delete, anyone else running a similar setup and what kind of power have you gone for? I'm not to sure how much I want or what they are capable of boost and bhp wise, any info or advice before its mapped will be great, and it's fabooka who is doing the map for me Thanks
  16. eBay 351202863460 These are the ones I bought for my fabia rear plate
  17. I'd also suggest cleaning all the maf pipe the maf itself and thebairbox and also replace the air filter when my turbo popped it sucked it all back through into the maf aswell, all sorted now and running again just got to get it mapped again

  19. I was in the same predicament I've had my fabia for 5 years and pretty much trouble free other than a few hiccups, I was going to sell it but the Mrs couldn't get on with the new car so bought myself a pd150 hybrid, a new front mount inter cooler and a few other bits and stuck it in vagtech going to cost about £2000 in total and I know I'll never get it back but hey I can't see me selling it in the next 4-5 years now, it's all down to you and how much you like the car, my turbo cracked of the manifold and the shrapnel was in the inter cooler, the maf pipe and all around the bottom intercooler pipes. Will it be worth it I'm not sure should get the car back today and will contact fabooka to remap it again then we will see, a lot of people will think in crazy spending £2000 on a car that's probably worth about £3k bt as long as I'm happy that's all that matters
  20. I think itbshoukd be compulsory for all insurance companies to release the information regarding a car they write off which is available to anybody when they carry out a hpi check, this will offer a lot more protection against dodgy people like this, the seller could be genuine and maybe wasn't aware to the extent of the damage when they bought it. But it is certainly too easy for people to cover up the history
