  1. Are the Bosch Aerotwin blades the best ones for the monster?
  2. No, I was relying on the published shipping details. Will do next time!
  3. Thanks for the info, would have gone for one, unfortunately no shipping to Bulgaria... Next time
  4. I can also confirm this is the case.
  5. Many thanks to Gizmo68 for the help, after some tests with VCDS I decided to push Skoda BG to finish their work. Of course the mechanics there tried to explain me how they don't have Westfalia stand for testing the towbar (maybe I had to get them the stand), how they are not sure if with 13 to 7 pin converter the Yeti can understand that there is something attached behind it, and so on, and so on. Luckily a guy that was responsible for the translations of all documentation came, confirmed that it's not working as it's supposed to be, and with VAS5052 for under 2 minutes managed to code it correctly. This is what I see now on the Swing display, when I have the bike carrier attached, and select reverse: And the carrier in question: Sorry for the bad pictures, I can put better ones some other day. So there you have a picture of the elusive combination of Swing radio + trailer attached
  6. The guy from Skoda BG used VAS5052, thankfully he knew what he was doing, so in 2 minutes I got this (finally): First pic of Swing with towbar installed, and coded correctly
  7. As I have a VCDS cable now, I'll try to fix it with remote support from Gizmo68 (many thanks!). I'm just amazed that no one else has this combination (Swing + Towbar, correctly coded).
  8. As the topic says - I have now the towbar fitter (original Westafalia by Skoda BG). As for the coding - I have my doubts everything is done correctly. Here's the checklist: 1) When I select reverse, there is no visual indication that i'm towing something (with Thule EuroWay G2 921 bike carrier fitted & connected (7-pin)) - NOK? 2) Again when on reverse, constant signal from the parking sensors that I'm about to hit something + relevant picture on Swing display. - NOK 3) The rear foglight is not operational when the bike carrier is connected - OK 4) The alarm goes off when carrier is disconnected Any ideas if everything is OK or if not - what's wrong?
  9. Hi, As currently my dealer (Skoda BG) is fitting Westfallia removable towbar and electrics (without factory towbar preparation), can I ask some of you with Swing radio and towbar if it's showing on the Swing display if something is connected to the plug? As I understood, that's what the Bolero display shows, just wondering for the Swing. Also as viewing how many of you had problems (especially with the correct coding), is there a way (checklist?) to see if everything is OK from start?
  10. Saw a Yeti with a small trailer at Cala Mitjana beach, Arta, Mallorca on 28.05. Really nice location. The color was Muscovado (maybe) The driver was enjoying the view
  11. Hi, As spring came up quite suddenly here, I ended up with an (almost) full tank of winter washer fluid). The genuine Skoda one. I was intending to keep it and use it in spring/summer, but it has a quite strong odor, also the summer fluids are better for removing insects from the windscreen. So my question for you is: Is there a way to drain the washer fluid tank? And finally, what type of summer washer fluid do you use?
  12. Russian for sure I'm yet find such perfect spot to try out my Monster! Maybe the spring will bring such opportunities here...
  13. I can confirm that even with clamps there is no problem with the sunroof open. Skoda bars, Thule clamps/roofbox that is.
  14. For those of you who might be interested: It seems quite accurate! (no aerial, though)

    Help!

I don't know if any of you are using this connection (3,5mm jacks) to play music via the Yeti sound system, but I find it very quiet, even on the loudest setting for the AUX (level 3, if I remember correctly). Tried it with both long and short cables (silly me to think that the impedance of the cable might be the problem ). SWING system here, to be more precise. And, if someone is wondering - you can control nothing more than the volume via the dashboard in this way, as it's stated in the manual.
