  1. Possibly. It has mot history up till 2019 so I was wondering if it's been scrapped or being stored on someone's driveway or something
  2. Hi all. I'm looking to possibly track down my brothers old fabia vrs which he bought new in 2005 The registration is FL05 VKU It's silver and has two white stripes running over the car front to back. Last time I heard it was spotted round Stoke on Trent still sporting the stripes. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.
  3. Just been looking at the vredesteins and can only seem to find them in 215/35 or 225/40 The Goodyears are abit out of my price range unfortunately. Its a second vehicle more of a toy really so its not often it'll be out in the wet which is why I looked at the nankangs. Ive got some kumho rally tyres 220/645/18 which I fitted for a track day a while back and they were truly awesome But not road legal unfortunately.
  4. Im after the nankang ns2r a cheaper version of the r888 I read pretty good reviews and they should kope better than most with the power.
  5. Cheers Lloyd. The only problem I have is the smallest 18" tyre of the type im after are 225/40 :(
  6. Ive managed to cancel the order on my tyres. How difficult would it be to fit 225/40? In not one for the stretched look im afraid. I understand it would need spacers and arch rolling but would it be possible? Or am I biting off more than I can chew? Cheers.
  7. Its got eibach coilovers on the front, but the previous owner has not supplied the height adjustment on the rear so its sitting on eibach 30mm lowering springs on the rear until I can get them replaced. I've not got any pics yet m8. But I'll try get some over the weekend and start a new thread, I feel we may have hijacked chink21's thread abit.
  8. Thanks for the advice Lloyd. I think a smaller tyre option, spacers and arch roll would be the best bet. To change camber on the front I imagine audi tt wishbones are the way to go. How do you go about the camber on the rear?
  9. What size spacers would you recommend Lloyd? my car is pretty low. Its going to be interesting to try get them to fit. Want to see the task I have in front of me when the tyres arrive. If they are ridiculous then I'll go for a smaller tyre.
  10. Its going to be a struggle sending the tyres back as there coming from Germany. I may just get one tyre fitted and see how far its out and how much of a struggle it'll be to get it fitted. If its more hassle than it's worth I'll sell them and order some smaller ones.
  11. Thanks for the advice Lloyd. Wish id spoken to you sooner. I'll get on the phone in the morning to see if i can change but I have a feeling it'll be too late. They'll probably be at my door tomorrow.
  12. Hmmmm That's not good news. I chose the wider tyres to try get as much rubber on the road as possible to reduce wheel spin. I've got 225 ditch finder tyres on at the moment and all they do is spin with nearly 300bhp on tap. Will they miss the coilovers? I can roll the arches thats not a problem unless they stick out ridiculously.
  13. Ive bought some of these rims also but in flat bronze. Im guessing by the looks of your pics you have the ET35. What tyres do you have fitted? I've just ordered some 235/40 but im abit worried they may not fit.
  14. As it stands its just a bare shell which has been cut-up to accept alot of the panels like the rear quarters ect. To finish it would need... Engine + gearbox mounting Suspension + diff mounting Roll cage welding in to join body/engine/suspension. (basically a spaceframe) Wiring Bodywork This isnt a small project by any means but once finished would be one of a kind and the closest thing to a WRC car. As you can see, its cost me alot more than im asking. The real WRC panels cost alot more than im asking never mind the nissan 200sx parts, Fabia shell, fabia dash, bonnet mould, etc. Its been my dream for about 8 years to drive this car but i need to accept defeat and move on. Being self employed I rarely get the time to work on it and im saving for a deposit for a house which isnt cheap so ive got to let go. Interested people are more than welcome to come have a look and let me bore them with 8 years of stories behind this project. But in all honesty i'd love to see someone with the time and skill to finish it..
  15. Ha, that was just a demo of the different paint effects i could do at the bodyshop i worked in. its more of a souvenir since the bodyshop went bump.
  16. Update!!!!! Comes complete with all the Nissan 200sx parts Engine Gearbox ECU Loom Propshaft Driveshafts Diff Front suspension, hubs, discs and calipers Rear suspension, hubs, discs, calipers and subframe
  17. Good to hear my old octy is still about. would love to see it again. Cant believe ive not had much interest im my wrc project. probably best advertising it on one of the rally forums for parts. Shame though i would have loved to have seen it finished by someone with the time.
  18. Time has come for me to get a house so somthings have to give, unfortunatly my Fabia project is one of them. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/271145138085?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649 I have been doing this project for 7 years and it getting nowhere and i need a deposit for a house so have decided to sell everything. My aim was to build this into a 300bhp RWD track car based on the Fabia WRC car using mostly Genuine WRC panels and running Nissan 200SX engine and running gear which i later changed to a Honda S2000 engine and running gear. To start i have a 06 Skoda Fabia Shell which had flood damage so no structual damage. the new buyer may decide not to use the shell but im including it anyway. The bulk head has been removed, a section of the exhaust tunnel has been removed, the boot floor has been removed the outer quarter and inner quarter panels have been removed. The body panels are genuine Skoda Fabia WRC panels I collected them From the Cezch republic in a van from Kopecky Motorsport and Juka Motorsport. The rear quarters are brand new from Kopecy and cost £900 each The rear doors a used from Kopecky and cost £950 each One of the front wings Evo 2 is from Kopecky £350 The other wing is Evo 1 from Juka £250 Front bumper is from Juka £800 Rear bumper is from Juka has a bit of damage but is easily repairable £ 200 You cannot just go out and buy these panels. It took me 3 years and hundreds of emails to obtain these. Weaversport are now the only people who you can get the panels from and unless you actually own one of the 18 real Fabia WRC cars left in the world they wont deal with you. I spoke to a company who could reproduce the front wings but a minimum order of 15 would have to be made. and at £300 a wing it isnt really a viable option. The rear spoiler is a fiberglass copy of the Evo 1 which was £200 The bonnet is just a mold that i was making to make a lightweight fiberglass bonnet from. I have made the negative mold and is now ready for the new bonnet to be laminated. Included in the sale is: Skoda Fabia bodyshell All Fabia WRC body panels Rear Fabia wing Bonnet Mold and negative mold Genuine Skoda front grill Front Doors (one has small amount of damage) Tailgate which has the inner section removed for lightweight Front blacked genuine Skoda headlights (one on left had bracket broken) Rear lights Nissan 200sx Engine (70k) gearbox, ecu, wireing, front and rear suspension and brakes, diff, driveshafts, propshaft also the nissans logbook. The rear quarter panels have only been positioned and clamped not welded so can be removed and fitted to another shell. I will not sell separately, if you do not want the shell you dont have to have it, i can despose of it. in that case everything would fit into a van. Im sure i have missed loads. your more than welcome to come and view the project. Im located 10 mins from Ashbourne, Derbyshire. This isnt an easy project but will make one hell of a car when finished as there are less than 20 real Fabia WRC cars left in the world which still sell for up to £200,000. Dont get me wrong this isnt a real WRC car but using genuine WRC panels (not fibreglass copies) it will look as real as one. Im after £2995 07939685239
  19. Ive just got European Breakdown cover from Europ Assistance via Breakdown cover - cheap European & UK car breakdown insurance £59 for a 17year old Mazda MX-5 for a year. Bargain.
  20. When i drive it with the roof down i ware my Skoda cap which no doubt looks very odd. Ive still got my Fabia WRC project in the garage. I'll never sell that. (Skoda in the blood)
  21. As most of you know, i sold my pride and joy http://i245.photobucket.com/albums/gg69/weston6989/Photo-0282.jpg And now i have bought a new toy to play with. http://i245.photobucket.com/albums/gg69/weston6989/Photo-0282Atm.jpg I always thought my Octy was an awesome car and would struggle to find a better car. as it had the performance 240bhp, cheap insurance, super practicality and good running costs 34mpg. But to be honest this Boxster is in a completely different league. The build quality is simply awesome, practicality aint bad. It's not as quick as my Octy but not far off and still returns 32mpg,.but the way it drives is awesome. Really happy Might be tempted to trade it in if Skoda make that Roadster concept though.
